Yep, same happened to me. Extra payment came day after.
So got my airpods pro 2 from Yodel at about half 2. I bloody love them! They have so much base! The noise cancellation and transparancy modes are great too! I also discovered, if you have spacial audio turned on and you're on a facetime audio call, the person will move around your head with the spacial audio, it's great!
Dude not everyone sells their stuff on every new upgrade. These will be good for at least 3 years and then I’ll just hand mine to someone in the family or put them in a draw. I just give my first gen ones to my sister.
I’ve not set the spacial audio up yet but from what I’ve read it’s not just a gimmick so looking forward to testing that later.

There’s some spacial audio tests on YouTube I think - not sure if they’re any good though!
Now that is smart.I’m probably late to the party with this one, but just noticed the custom engraving on my AirPods appears on the pop up screen on my phone.
I’m considering sending this one back TBH, as it just doesn’t seem to put out a decent charge.
It’s now flat, so gave me roughly 35% to 80% charge, which I don’t think is that great.

My Gen 1 Pros never stayed in the battery indicators on my phone when they were in the case. Is that a new feature to these ones or has that been a thing on other iterations?
It's almost 7pm and I still don't have hands on AirPods... (first world problems, I know...) This is exactly why I chose to pick up the iPhone in store last Friday haha
Favour to ask: could someone test something with the watch/phone for me? As follows:
- In the Watch app on the phone, go into settings > general > airplane mode and toggle “mirror iPhone” on
- Try turning on airplane mode on the phone and see if it is mirrored to the watch
Good to have! They’ve ironed out all of my main annoyances with the 1st gens (volume control, poor find my integration and the battery indicators)
Trying out this new lens protector. So far so good. I like it. Very clean and no interference with cameras.
Out of curiosity did anyone experience that the phone out of box when setting up you get given should be the correct region at the top… did anyone get somewhere different? I was setting up the iPhone 14 pro I preordered and gave to my dad and the region was Germany
