Not saying that your iPhone is not faulty but i would highly recommend when you are in Apple Store pickup every single Pro model on display and test them. They all will have that little hisss buzzz noise because of OIC.

2 year SIM only ends next month paying £41/month for 5g max speeds and unlimited everything and 3 smart benefits and BT Sports large screen. Use it all so want at least this. Also have the legacy £5/month watch plan that they try to keep upgrading me to the new £7 one.
I want to stay with them as unlike others on here I have had zero issues with them and everytime I speak to customer service they have been excellent. Wouldn't mind getting that £41 a bit lower though, but with all the add ons may be not worth it. I use the AppleTV+, Apple Music & Roam Further (I travel to US a bit so need it) and with the BT sport large screen as well I think I may struggle with a better deal elsewhere?
Same for me, I find their coverage and speeds excellent in comparison to when I was with Three, but that was a good few years ago so they might have improved.
I see they offer Apple One on some plans, I'd definitely take this if they allowed you to pay more and get the Apple One Premier plan as it would end up saving my partner and I money overall.
My sim only also expires soon, the deals from EE don’t seem as good at the moment. Can’t we just continue with our current sim only plans until a better deal comes around?
I’m not sure what OIC means. Anyway went to the store and spoke to Genius Bar they said it was a very common issue and they were getting a lot of units back. They extended my return policy by 1 month and said to keep checking to try and reserve a model and then once reserved they’ll do the exchange up to 1 month from when I bought the phone. So at least I can keep the same phone until then. Also just to clarify the noise only happens when I open the camera app. Otherwise there is no noise.
I think for me, the 20% Perk discount expires unless you upgrade, so my plan will jump up in price. Might still be the cheapest option though.
My Apple clear case for the 14 PM arrived today.
I still have all my other official Apple clear cases from the 11 PM (this was when Apple started making their own clear case).
The case is still slippy this year, but the buttons seems a bit easier to press. I imagine I will use this case along with the Midnight silicone case when I need more grip.

Someone posted that EE sometimes have good Black Friday deals, so I will keep a eye out for those.
EE sim only plans seem to have gone up in costs and down in features significantly recently. I changed fairly recently and got 160GB and one smart benefit (using it for Apple Music) for £25 (I don’t have any discount codes) but the closest they do now is 125 GB for £31. Given EE will put the price up twice in a 2 year contract, that’s a pretty big up shift already!

Finally got my money from CEX. Been down to the shop to show them how to properly unpair a pair of AirPods. They were convinced they were still tied to my iCloud account. What they hadn’t done was hold the button. Because they didn’t do that when the connected to a device it re-paired them to my account. So when removing pods make sure you hold button till case is blinking white!!!
With regards to gift card they can definitely put it back to gift card and then pay for the new one. I’ve done that year after year and on Saturday after release. Last week it went even better where they did the refund and payment in one transaction. They then owed me £100 which should have gone back to account balance but he allowed me to return to card.
Had a similar issue selling AirPods Max to them, they paid me and when I got home they phoned me to say it was on my account, I explained over the phone and they never got back to me so must have sorted it.

Typo error. Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). That white noise and hissing sound will also come from your replacement device. The noise goes away when you change to slo mo mode. It was there on 13 Pros too.
Anyway glad Apple Genius helped you out with a desired resolution.

Oh okay interesting. I mean tbf, I’ve never gone searching for it! Maybe I don’t need to change anything then😂? I only assumed it was a fault due to all the negative press about it. I’ll keep a listen and eye on it to see how it is over the next few days
I've literally just signed up to EE after 21 years with O2. Just on a 12 month sim only deal but I couldn't take O2's horrendous service any more. Constant drop outs in Ipswich and the 5G just doesn't work! So i'm intrigued to see how EE fair. I've gone for the 125GB with 6 months of Apple Music for £25 which is the same as I was paying for with O2.
Got my 14PM today from Leicester - glad I made the move from P to PM.
Now I just need to check everything is on the PM and I’ll return the 14 Pro and case back to Apple.

Except they wouldn't let me return and immediately rebuy the phone I wanted to keep (regardless of whether I used the gift card or not). MY understanding was because I had opened the box already. Anyway I managed to get the amount back onto my card following my accidental redemption of it to the App Store via Apple support this morning!!

should have waited for Black Friday, usually better sim only deals to be had then, from EE etc.
