I can’t remember if by now I have already bowed out of the forum. Something this year I think is keeping many of us around.

I feel this year has become more of a community than previous.

I think because this year we weren't allowed the thread until announcement we're all a little chattier. I think also this year there are more products we're directly interested in compared to last year (AirPods Pro 2, Watch Ultra etc.).

We're also 6 pages away from surpassing the length of the 13 thread

I was about to mention that. I think we've surpassed it in terms of posts from launch day - early pages on last year's thread were pre-launch, as were the last few (but pre-launch for this year).

any difference/preference between the apple sports loop vs nike sports loop?

They are identical, except for the colours and the Nike branding. The Nike ones used to be reflective too but they have stopped that now.

sent away my series 7 and air pods pro to MM. hoping will Get them and get money for those soon. says 2-3 days.

think my wallet is safe for now. not sure if I will be tempted in October by iPad Pro or not. if I do it will be to downsize to the 11 inch iPad Pro. my 16 inch MacBook Pro will not be upgraded anytime soon. was planning to keep this for a good 3 years.

ive just spotted that Amazon are bringing out a kindle scribe. Will need to explore that further and see if will be similar to a Remarkable which I fancy but would prefer my employer to pay for Since would be 80-90% work usage.

Part of me's been missing the big screen factor and killer battery life so I'm going to see how it is to live with for 24 hours, I'll probably end up returning my Pro tomorrow.

Early days yet but the screen feels massive - might be the old bigger notch, placebo effect or just from coming from standard pro, but it feels big even compared to the 12PM I had before.

Definitely returning the standard pro tomorrow.

You’re going to keep the max then? See I’m keep going back and forth if I want a more portable phone or keep using max. I’ve used plus/max phones since the 6 plus.

It’s defo heavier than 13pm and 12pm.

Just been to Apple Store and picked up an Umber wallet and a Sequoia Green leather case for my 13 Pro.

I had to ask for the case as they no longer display them but they do have limited stock left over in the back.

Couldn’t stop looking at the Space Black 14 Pro Max and Apple Watch Ultra. 😅

Soon get used to it though now I dislike how small the screen is on a standard pro

I went from the 14 Pro to the PM - the only time that I find the PM unwieldy is with a case on so (just as I did with my 13 Pro), I’ll go caseless unless going somewhere/doing something where a case is much better.

If I’m at home, I’ll use two hands to hold the phone which I’m OK with.

The larger screen plus the on-screen keyboard (as a result) make this a winner for me and I’ll stick with the Max size going forward too.

I literally hate EE for this BS too - 3 might not have the best signal where I currently live but changing to EE and their customer is a big nope for me.

Apart from long wait times on hold I’ve never had an issue with EE CS
