I'd say fairly better. Official stats put it at over 25% better (23 hours vs 29 hours video playback). It's the battery more than the screen size that's keeping me on the PM over the Pro.
I had the Pro for a week or two before the 14PM arrived and while the battery was just fine on 13 Pro I missed the never having to worry about battery life approach I had with the 13PM. I no longer charge overnight and can really get away with random top ups as and when I need em...
its only presenting back what the underlying API call shows.. Apple.com just restrict the UI to not display.
in previous years I might have been tempted to knock up a quick app again to check and send me a push notification when the make turned up in a store I wanted... but tbh... I can't be bothered anymore
my hunt for a pro max is just prolonging my time here... got the phone, AirPods and watch now... just clutching on for the lolz

If you stick on web inspector on the order pages you’ll see it in the networks tab. Then you need to get your head around the json response, and product codes they’re using
I feel like the one at Trafford Centre I snagged this morning might've been a unicorn. The lady serving me in the store was at pains to tell me how lucky I was that I'd got one and that she didn't know of anyone else being able to get one!

You can request refund and then have something like 2 weeks to return assuming bought and paid online.
Yep did that with the case. Was hoping to return the pro in store if (a big if!) I were to find and pick up max in store.
