My Pro-Max was due for delivery between 3rd - 10th October. Had a text message to say it’ll be with me on Monday via DHL. I’ll be at work, so hopefully they will drop with a neighbour.
Looking forward to it now, I haven’t even installed iOS 16 on my previous phone.

If it’s from Apple it’s unlikely the courier will drop it off at a neighbour. Apple are very strict about that especially when it comes to high value items like an iPhone.
Same. Mine is 8 miles away. It’s infuriating as he never even attempted delivery (been glued to the window). Just wish he’d hurry up and drop it off there.
That’s a bit of a kicker then. I don’t have the option to change the delivery to a Saturday and I’m at work all week.
As far as I’m aware Apple doesn’t allow delivery to be changed to weekends either maybe because the courier charge is higher.
Oh well. I’ll have to cross everything for a delivery slot of after 4pm then 🤣😂

I couldn't actually get it through reservations so I used the Apple Store app and just bought it outright again but to collect so I picked up the new paid for handset and just refunded my other which was purchased in storeI mean: what were the steps ?

The process changes depending on the salesperson and the situation. My swap outs have been different each time!!! Yesterday it was refund to 3 Apple gift cards and then pay for new one with the gift cards and £100 on my card.
Last week it was swap on same receipt and refund my card the difference.

Thank you ! Because my Pro was a gift from my father and well, I want to swap it and pay the difference to get the PM. But if my father is the one getting the refund, then... it's not a gift anymore 😂
When I swapped my Ultra yesterday they returned the watch and gave me gift cards and then used the gift cards to pay for the new one. This is better in my opinion as if you return the item for a refund to your card and buy another item your going to have the refund pending for several days until it’s processed between Apple and your bank. The gift cards allow a straight swap without going through your bank account.

Ah no. As long as you have the receipt they will either be able to direct swap and pay difference or ask them to refund to a gift card.
This is the refund they processed for mine they then just used the same cards.
Exactly. I have only had them refund my card when there was a difference in price and they owed me the money!
