What model are you getting?

It’ll come off your main incomer mate, which I guess is in a box sunk in the wall (being a new build most are)

I’d probably search on whatever manufacturers website you choose for accredited electricians. It’s always luck of the draw though sadly as with most trades!

If you get stuck let me know, I know a few sparkies around the London area

Cool, will do. A lot of the companies like podpoint seem to want you to book and pay and then they’ll survey (in person). Then you can say yay or nay if additional cost/complexity arise.

Sorry I know it’s probably been asked a zillion times already…

Armorite vs spigen easy fit:

I know the armorite had the black border and the ezfit was just clear… is it even noticeable?

Does the ez for cover the same a line of screen as the armorite?

Managed to reserve a 14 pro max purple at covent garden store yesterday.
Upgrading from a regular 12 and so far everything is working great. Really notice the refresh rate bump.
Only need to sort out my esim transfer as i was still on iOS 15 on my old phone so can't do it directly.

Clear hard Peel case arrived. Also no duty owed! :)

It's a coin-toss for me over whether I prefer the clear hard or frosted "silver" from Peel. Regardless, both are keepers.

I think the Deep Purple and clear hard case would be a great pairing.
How much was it? I had the Peel case last year (not the clear) but didn't like it. Are the buttons covered with the clear case?

That’s the wrong one. It’s the older model that doesn’t have fast charge. This is the newer one with fast charge.

I just got the older one. I just don't understand why anyone would want to newer one with faster charging as I just charge overnight which is plenty time?

The ProMotion display is amazing. I used a friends iPhone 12 earlier today and couldn't believe the difference.

Think it's because they are the same price. Might as well get the newer model for the same money, plus faster charging.

Because some people wear their watch at night too so need something faster to top up the battery. Plus there are times when you may just need some extra charge quickly.

The Spigen AlignMaster is similar to the EZ Fit. I think the only difference is the AlignMaster has a black border.
I haven’t tried the EZ Fit, but the AlignMaster was super easy to install and looks great.

Ahh see I’ve never been fuzzed about the black borders. Always used just regular clear without borders and been happy enough with those so doesn’t really make a big difference to me. I have one on atm so probably won’t change it anytime soon

My iPhone 14 Plus order status has changed today to preparing to ship.

I know its probably the least talked about model on here but im looking forward to it arriving on Friday. Its the first non pro model I had and first product red colour.

Ooh an iPhone 13S Pro Max.

You will need to report back!!

So wish you could get the Pro in product red.

You know that’s the one thing I don’t think I’ve noticed at all! Maybe I have and I don’t realise

We’ve got a Pod Point and the initial survey (Jan 2019) was all done over FaceTime.

I’ve tried both on my 14 PM and personally prefer the Amorite. This Spigen is thinner and an even easier install although I did get a spec of dust under it. No idea how. I found after a few days the Spigen sometimes felt like it has a bit more resistance when sliding my finger on the screen with I round a bit annoying. The ESR stays really silky smooth all the time (felt great for 9 months on a 13 PM). I slightly prefer the black borders on the ESR although the Spigen isn’t too bad and I wouldn’t make it a deciding factor. Most people tend to prefer the Spigen so really can’t go wrong with either.

Non silicone ones do exist.

ESR Clear Case for AirPods Pro 2 Case , Air Ripple Protective TPU Cover with Keychain [Won't Affect Wireless Charging] [Visible Front LED] [Dust & Shock-Resistant], Clear https://amzn.eu/d/isRilzy

ESR Cyber Armor Tough Case with HaloLock Compatible with AirPods Pro (2nd Generation/1st Generation), MagSafe Ready, Powerful Drop Protection, Magnetic Lid, Case for AirPods Pro (2022/2019), Black https://amzn.eu/d/46UyZa5

I checked Nomad and they say coming soon.

There might be others out there.

Thanks - I’ll probably go for the ESR one.

That carbon fibre look on the others is very “Halfords car accessories”

Right!? It’s really reason enough to consider it over the Pro. Been saying it for yonks okay, fine I’ve mentioned it once or twice in this thread not yonks

100% having had two pros. The life in the Max compared is extremely noticeable.

I paid £39 or so after currency conversion and with a 10% discount code.

I pre-ordered as soon as they were announced and before the exchange rate nose dived.

Buttons are naked, which is my preference. Only covered buttons I have ever liked are on Apple's leather cases.
