Been messaging separetly, they have iUP, she works in retail and can't look at phone constantly. I asked for her details so could reserve for her but nothing back as yet.

I bought a MagSafe wallet this year and I love it. Like you I use ApplePay normally but carry ID, a credit card and a debit card in the wallet (in case) and I find it perfect.
Same, just my bank card, driving licence and a credit card. Shame it doesn't fit one more as I like to carry my Costco card for those just in case I want to pop in visits.

Thanks to all those who replied and tested, I spoke to apple on the phone this time that way they are UK based to see what they thought. They still think it is definitely worth replacing but trying to replace is the only issue as they get daily stock but I just need to keep checking as before, no problem. She also clarified that under faulty goods I actually have 1 year under warranty to get this swapped out.

She offered an express replacement via apple online as that’s how I purchased it which would take 1-2 weeks but that leaves me without a phone (sold my old one too so wouldn’t have a phone) but nice to know.

Normally express replacements only take a few days usually a day or two. I had to do one a few years back under Apple Care Plus due to a crack happening in the screen. I guess the issue is that these phones have only recently been released and demand is far higher than supply so it’s taking longer to replace them.
