St Vincent St?They’re called “staff” 😉
If I was in the office, it’s kind of what I do. My office and Apple Store Glasgow share the same staff entrance.
Is it ok to charge using old 5W iPhone charger?
With the iPad Pro charger it has gone from 29% to 80% in less than 50 min and phone is fairly hot. I guess not good for the battery…
Makes sense. I’d never spent any time thinking about it but it’d be daft if there was only the front door on Buchanan St.
I spotted the same at Apple Milton Keynes yesterday, the Space Black had Silver finish around the Lightining port. Finally got my space black pro replacement after waiting a month.
Can’t believe my launch day model had missing paint around the port.
Anyway, long old wait time but it’s finally here and set up, my esim pack didn’t turn up in time from O2 but I’ll still switch as I’m 99% sure UK/EU model will be esim only next year Anyway.

Nope 99% sure that it won’t be eSim only next year. I think iPhone 16.
None of the MVNOs in the UK have eSim as yet and nothing PAYG that uses eSim on any network.
Yes US doesn’t have MVNO support generally but the big networks that support eSim support it for pre pay as well. Until that changes in the UK/Europe the pSim will remain.
The US already operate on different bands to us so to make another config change to the hardware made no difference anyway. It’s not like they have added anything to the device apart from a plastic spacer.
I agree it will be at least two more years before Apple makes eSIM as the only option here. The support for eSIMs here is not extensive enough yet.
3 have had a trial of eSIM, now ended.
There's no reason that the MVNOs or prepay couldn't offer eSIM, both MVNO's and PAYG are all down to the network configuration rather than the SIM.
PAYG was my area of specialty when I worked in telecoms, although I am sure a lot has changed in the 9 years I've been out.
