So you still not got a 14 yet? I thought you had one!!
Nope. 31st to 7th is my delivery window. It was 21-28th before I changed my order. I’m upgrading for the bigger screen mainly, so my 12 Pro is managing fine. I couldn’t be bothered with checking for stock over and over on the off chance my local shops had some in, so I’m just waiting.

Just don't change your order again, you already waited long enough 😆😅

The 15 would have to be something radical to make me upgrade so soon. I don’t have the cash to upgrade every year like I used to. Mind you, when I last did that the cost of an iPhone was well under a grand.

I had every iPhone from original to the 6S, then I spent some time in the Android wilderness before coming back to the 12 Pro.

I totally agree, I haven't done a yearly upgrade since 11PM, and the only reason I got the 13PM is for my wife (upgraded from the 7plus), so 14 is a significant upgrade and about time, nowadays phones can last a lot longer. Of course, the cost is so much higher to justify the upgrade, plus what you have mentioned, it'll have to be a radical change to peak my interest in upgrading.

The usb-c port on the 2022 iPad Air clocks in at 10Gbps. There was a noticeable difference in backing it up.

Still 1st-8th of Nov for my 14 pro SB and still processing! Did check at stores near me for any stock in any colour but no luck and nothing expected until December for the deep purple! Gotta just be patient and wait.
My DP PM is still processing too, delivery 3-10 November. If they give me too long to wait, I might change my mind!

A pleasant Monday morning surprise to see O2 have turned on 5G covering my house (it wasn't on on Friday). It's not fast at the moment 78 down but it's quicker than the home broadband which currently sits at 48.

Hopefully it'll get quicker as it settles.
The same here but when I tested I get 43 download 10 upload on 5G, and 97 download 2 upload on 4G. I was planning on sticking to 4G anyway.

I just did two 5G tests here at home. The first one gave me 359 down and 1.92 up. The second one gave me 330 down and 13.1 up. This is on EE.

That'd be an awesome download speed.
I've no idea where the mast is but my apartment is at the back of the building and I get 5G inside. Out the front it's 4G still. I assume therefore that it's a distance away and the building blocks the signal

Never paid for Apple subs. EE keeps giving me 6 months free on all lol. Then got Barclaycard offers for 6 months lol. Bought MacBook and iPads via John Lewis got more 6 moths offer from there.

But before i could use any of the above still have 8 months left from EE smarts benefit subs i activated on my last contract.

Been using 6 months free Apple Music offer for last 12 months now.

Actually the EE 6 mths freebie is for both new & exiting pay monthly customers . I have never paid a dime for Apple TV +, it’s been a freebie galore to say the least

So for anyone interested you can sign up via your EE account under Add On benefits. I am sure there are more deals to be had during BF week next month

Even though I have “unlimited” data ( throttled if and when I reach 600GB each month ) I still prefer to use Wi-Fi at home. It’s generally fast enough for my download needs on my iPhone and iPad.

With all the battery issues etc. Ended up doing dfu restore to ioS16.1 (was running beta before) and set up device as new again.

Will see how good this new build is.
