Far too much risk and stress involved in an eBay sale IMHO.

I used to think that; but now their managed payments system is in place, it's far, far better than it was with PayPal...

I don't send anything until the funds have cleared in my spare bank account and then that's transferred into my main current account

I've had zero issues and have sold all sorts inc high end gadgets and some expensive hifi too...

It's all about doing your due diligence and ensuring that whomever is bidding on your goods has solid feedback etc
