Those fortunate to have there devices already how are you finding it? The 16Plus is really nice to use compared to the 13Pro, the edges and weight feel much better in hand. Battery life is phenomenal. I’m really impressed by the 16 series tbh!

Loving it coming from 14 PM. Very happy with it and it’s getting easier on set up, like to set up fresh so quick this time. Only Apple Watch to pair left.

Do you guys think an esim is better or should I stick with a physical sim with EE?

I think the benefits with an physical sim is if you change phones a lot, you just have to take the sim out and pop it into a new phone whilst with an esim I am guessing you have to call up the network to cancel and transfer to the new phone?

There must have been a big stock refresh this week because Amazon got a load in and looks like JL also restocked earlier than expected.

I ordered a 16 Pro on Monday night, arrived today, was meant to be delivered tomorrow (whilst I was in the office!) - so I’m well chuffed I took delivery whilst WFH today.

Coming from the 14 Plus, it feels like a real premium upgrade.

The sides and edges of this Pro are GORGEOUS to feel! Like buttery smooth or something 😂

First time I’ve ever had a Pro model too, so the Pro Motion is a nice upgrade.

I wasn’t going to get a new iPhone last week but I’d picked up the Jet Black Series 10 Watch at the weekend and looked at my baby blue 14 Plus iPhone and thought… it looks cheap compared to my new Watch.

So, after seeing the Pro in store, it had to be done. Nice £1500 spend in two days :-/ but luckily had a £1500 bonus from work last week with more bonuses to come due to great sales results in my team.

I’m done with Apple stuff for now! iPad Pro M4, S10 Watch and now a 16 Pro.

I’ll tell you what really helps though; paying for these things on Amazon using their 5 monthly payments option. No finance, just payments come off the card for 5 months.

Genuinely haven’t really noticed many of these payments 😬😬

My 16PM finally arrived from EE however I made a massive mistake with the ESR Armorite protectors. The tool doesn’t line the protector up properly and now the corner edge catches with my case and bubbles up! So I’m returning it to Amazon. May try the spigen one as I haven’t seen anything bad about them unless someone has a better option?

Same here. I didn’t even realise I had eSIM until sorting out my new 16 Pro today. It just transferred it in seconds.

My JL order came over a week earlier than anticipated. It was set for October 10th delivery at order but arrived yesterday.

I ordered a black PM on the 30th, and I think the black is hard to come by. Currently , the only available colours to order are white & nat. I suggest you go ahead and place your order if either colour suits, you might get it earlier than expected

I’m using the Torras screen protector and I’m happy with it. I didn’t apply it myself though and took it to a kiosk in the local shopping centre and paid £5 to have it put on. So far it’s been great. I’ve heard good things about the Spigen one too.

I had a 15PM and then went over to Android (still have Android devices) but realised I wanted iOS as my main handset

Got myself a 13PM to see me through and now I've got the 16PM - it's a superb device

But so is the 15PM and if you've got that, stick with it as the 16PM isn't an upgrade over it really; the size difference is negligible. Even next to my previous 13PM, you can hardly tell the size difference

The 16PM camera is superb though and a real step up over iPhones 14 downwards IMO

I usually install Torras screen protectors as they are great quality, however this year I went with the WSKEN scene protector which seems equally good quality and was a breeze to install.

It is worth noting that the black border is too wide for virtually all the current screen protectors and eats into the active iPhone screen. You can see it when you have the camera view up, the four "L" shaped corner guides give it away. I suspect that in the next production run of protectors, all the manufacturers will have modified their designs to reduce the black border width.

Spigen EZfit screen protector fitted; zero issues, went on 1st time faultlessly.

Fits perfectly with the Spigen case as well as the UAG case

Similar experience. I was stunned at moving over from Physical SIM to eSIM as I didn't even have to swap the SIM over to the new device (and more importantly didn't have to spend 1hr on the 'phone to an untrained offshore employee in Three).

Shame the bank cards, banking apps, authenticators can't carry credentials, although I can understand why !

UI performance seems snapper, battery life seems much better (with USB C charging a big plus).

If you have an Apple store nearby go there and have them use the machine to install a Belkin screen protector. You have to buy it at the store as it is packaged for machine application.

I have never been able to install a screen protector without bubbles so always have Apple do it.

Luckily my work cover my phone contract cost - as I've always been sim only, unbelievably I've only just worked out that they will cover my handset as well - I've no idea how that passed me by. So after debating whether to change or not, I've now gone for an upgrade guilt-free!

16PM Desert Titanium on it's way, 512GB version so that it arrives imminently (the others had a 2 week wait time).

Honestly not expecting much difference as upgrading from a 13PM but it's always nice to get a new phone.

Finally got my phone today after the UPS code fiasco, I’ve set it up once but it wasn’t pulling down my apps from the App Store so I’ve been advised to restore from a backup.

I thought Apple was meant to “just work”

I put one of the spigen covers on and then I’ve put a magnetic USB-C charge adapter in the bottom so it doesn’t get full of gak
