I know this may not be the right place to ask, but since i have had my new 16 pro max it doesnt suggest my car journies any more when it connects to my car. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get this working again. I have got precise location switched on. TIA

Anyone know if the genius bars have replacement phones yet? Seems to be okay right now, but would like an idea if it's worth making a genius bar appointment if it starts to act strange.

I was stunned (as someone who works in tech) at how seamless the transition was to eSIM. I guess someone has driven people to get their act together. I had an absolute nightmare when I bought my Watch Ultra and try to transfer the eSIM over (let alone do a physical SIM).

The biggest thing was not having to mess around with the SIM ejector pin.

I was even more stunned after opening my sim tray on the existing phone to eject the sim, only to find that there wasn’t one there!

Can’t even remember setting up eSIM last time 😂 but that process of transferring to a new phone is awesome.

I put one of the spigen covers on and then I’ve put a magnetic USB-C charge adapter in the bottom so it doesn’t get full of gak

So my Native union case showed up and I have to say I’m not so impressed. The buttons are ok - but different from the 13 pro max ones (bottom). The rigidity of the case means the camera control is hard to use.

16PM landed and just midst setting it up

Spigen EZfit screen protector installed, zero issues. Spigen Ultra Hybrid magasfe T case fitted and has the side button installed, feels a great case

Also installed a Mothka metal camera ring protector, similar to the Ringke one I had fitted on my previous 15PM and it fits perfectly

For example the iPhone Pro Max 256GB in Desert is £1100. Not sure though if they're really in stock as stated.

I checked Trustpilot reviews they seemed positive -- a few reviews from September 2024 but non with iPhones purchases.

Dodgy as ****. Fake reviews. Only buy from there if you are willing to lose whatever you are spending.

As in (aside from the camera button which you wouldn't even notice if you didn't know about) there feels like there is absolutely no difference at all unless you have them side by side.

Honestly a few days in now, aside from a much improved battery life over my 13PM, I'm not seeing a great deal of difference in normal use. Not taken a load of photos yet to notice much difference either. Dynamic Island is OK, as is not needing a separate cable any more for my phone, but I'm a little underwhelmed!

I agree. That wording of the description immediately rings alarm bells and flags up the possible suspect nature of their site. I personally wouldn’t risk buying from them. It’s better to pay a little more and have the peace of mind reputable and well know retailers give you.
