I'm 50/50 every year and every year I upgrade! 🤣Im still 50/50 about upgrading this year.
Resale prices for 16 Pro are not good either.
In other news my 16 Pro just dropped battery health to 99% today.
Lol. How you selling your current device?I'm 50/50 every year and every year I upgrade! 🤣
What’s the resale value? $800?Im still 50/50 about upgrading this year.

$840 without any effort or hassle. What’s the resale value? $800?
They offering £625 in UK. Private sale could fetch more.I’m on the West Coast and only got 760 for mine pristine condition.
I got on the Upgrade programme this (last) year so back to Apple. Also, think I'm away on launch day so will have to with this year...Lol. How you selling your current device?
Ive got spare 16+ at work might use that as burner.
Issue you will have is the 16 Pro will be discontinued as soon as 17 Pro is released. We tried the same previously and ended up ordering a 13 Pro that ID couldn’t give to us.Hi. I'm a 13 user thinking of upgrading this year but can't justify likely price of 17 Pro.
I could wait and get the regular 17 but wondered if I'd be better getting a 16 Pro as I'd like a better camera.
When might be the best time to get a 16 Pro based on past years? I'd been assuming I should wait until September and find one discounted. However, I'm on ID Mobile and the deals they have on 24 month contracts through uSwitch seem really good, I worked out equivalent to paying £855 for a 256GB 16 Pro over what I'm paying for sim-only with them. Any thoughts on if I'll do better than that in September?
Have you never thought of going on the Upgrade Programme?I know I will get less but I will just sell when my new iPhone arrives. Can’t be dealing with using backups or without for weeks.
thought about it last year but it's the hassle of having to go to an apple store where they could not approve you is a risk didn't want to take. may try and do it this year to save time but would need to order one as well in case i couldn't get approved.Have you never thought of going on the Upgrade Programme?
That's the biggest pain. I'm a 45 minute drive to the Apple Store. You can get pre-approved and order just the same as ordering to get delivered. You just get Barclay's finance sorted, place your order and chose your time in store. You do this at the same time as general orders go live then pick up on launch day.thought about it last year but it's the hassle of having to go to an apple store where they could not approve you is a risk didn't want to take. may try and do it this year to save time but would need to order one as well in case i couldn't get approved.
