can cancel AC+ any time but they will refund the money to Barclays.. if the account on the Barclays end has already been closed, they will then in turn refund you to your bank a/c used for the direct debit.

Issue you will have is the 16 Pro will be discontinued as soon as 17 Pro is released. We tried the same previously and ended up ordering a 13 Pro that ID couldn’t give to us.
I’d say 16pro over 17

Only thing I will be changing is going back to 256Gb. My 16 Pro Max is 512Gb and currently on 186Gb with 325Gb free. 256Gb seems the best option for me.

Different Buyers said they received in the package a pink scarf? and some hair clips! eBay did not support me despite me having a 100% seller rating, proof of posting etc. Got a police crime number, photos of my packaging etc. Still had to pay eBay £800. Never again.

Me too. I searched the buyer and he a lecturer at Oxford University so hopefully he a genuine gentleman.

I crunched the numbers earlier and had the same feeling. BPF financially is cheaper but less hassle.

On IUP you pay £70 - £80 extra for owning 16 Pro.

Its the uncertainty of it that puts me off. My credit report / score in excellent but when you read stories people getting declined on the day puts me off lol. I can always do both BPF and IUP. So I might decide on the day lol.

Back for another upgrade year. Off travelling round South America on the 10th, will be ordering on AmazonUK while in Brazil as I got £400+ credit on my account.

Will setup a sell order on musicmagpie on the 8th or 9th. Believe we have 21days to send the handset in so I'll take it on my trip and mail it off soon as I'm back on the 23rd but my 17Pro will be at home waiting for me!

Ok. Ebay transaction finalised. Buyer confirmed delivery. Left positive feedback. Money in my account.

I know preferred method is to pay off finance and then cancel Apple care but i went other way round. Cancelled my AC+ first as i didnt want buyer to make a claim etc. So the money will be going back to Barclays and then ill be able to pay off my loan.

Count me in for the usual thread here! I also skipped the 16, still happy with my natural titanium 15Pro.

Strangely tempted by the new Air despite my 15Pro battery not lasting a day and normally using a MagSafe Wallet. Rationally, probably looking at a 17Pro in natural titanium or black.

Paying off BPF loan was the easiest thing ever.

AC+ cancelled and refund requested on Thursday afternoon.

Apple confirmed cancellation and refund on Friday.

Barclays got refund amount from Apple today i.e Saturday.

Outstanding balance paid via debit card.
