Currently have 7+ am planning to get an X. Just wondering do we think the X will be slower than the 8+ due to it having to drive a lot more pixels due to the higher resolution screen and both having the same processor ?

Benchmarks show it slightly slower than the 8+ but it is no slouch.

It’s a bit strange - I would have expected Apple to make sure their 'premium' (read:bloody expensive) phone to be the most powerful. Eg giving it an A11X or maybe giving the 8/8+ an A10x

Outside of benchmarks you won’t notice.

Worth it for the premium screen.
 
I have returned my 8+ Plus due to crackle issue.
I will wait for X to be released and decide way forward.
Until then trusty Pixel it is!
 
I've been tempted to pick up an iPhone 8 Plus. Using the SE is ok, but I'm missing the camera's and the big screen. Need to stay strong and wait.

I'm started to lean more and more towards the 8+ 256gb. Not only is it £200 cheaper, but it has touch-id which i really prefer. Has anyone got one from a local network store recently?

I don't think there's anything wrong, but the tuna has changed since the introduction of the Ax processors and integrated SoC (and not GPU).

At one point th Apple community disregarded benchmarks (when others were superior), but now that they perform better, they use them as

Ah Stainless Steel Space Black...

It's gorgeous, the screen looks bigger because the screen looks like it merges in with the body.

Now, need to head to the Apple Store to do a return.

thinking of getting the space grey iphone x so thinking SS space black would go well with it.

Any pics to make my decision easier? lol

I know what you mean. I swapped out my 38mm gold aluminium with pink sand sport loop for a 42mm SSSB with Milanese loop strap on Friday (same asct2k7 of above). But I don't like that style either and still not sure if the Apple Watch is as you say a 'can't live without' item for me yet either. I didn't wear it yesterday or today though partly that was because am already resolved to return it and wait for the silver stainless steel with white sport band and don't want to damage or lose.

Then sometimes I think should I forget the X , keep my 7+and treat myself to a Hermes edition. I think they look so smart and have lovely faces. And then I tell myself to behave!

So my turn to be undecided but ultimately unless I find one that I r ally like the look of on my wrist then I probably won't commit/keep!

It does make the screen look bigger and oddly I think that is one of the reasons I am not so keen! I don't generally buy the whole male v female size and styles on Apple products but I think the 42mm SSSB would suit a guy better.

I was not bothered about the red dot but it looked horrible on the sand pink gold and I don't like it against the SSSB Milanese strap either.
