Have ordered a midnight blue leather case for pick-up at the Manchester Arndale store on the 31st. Almost had a heart attack when I clicked on Reservations and the ‘you have no reservations’ screen popped up! It appears to be going missing periodically, luckily I logged into the Apple reservations site and my launch day reservation is still safe and sound. Phew!
 
I've not had any confirmation emails apart from the Order Confirmation I got initially at 8:05, all my updates have been through myself by refreshing the Status Order page.

I got on he app on iP7+ at about 8:08. Had to change billing address for a debit card payment as for some reason it had changed to the shipping address (despite setting it all up the previous night). During that time shipping went from 3rd November to 2-3 weeks. So tried pick up for Birmingham, selected a time slot, went to confirm order and got a 'not available for pick up' message.

In a bit of a strop I just closed the app and thought I'd try my network instead. Before doing that checked the store on Chrome browser and pick up was available for Birmingham. Finally got one sorted for pick up on 3rd November and confirmation came through at 8:19 😱 Must be one of the latest for launch day. I'm still expecting it to be changed to a later date.

The Apple Store app states that they'll hold on to your order if you can't make it on time, but you may have to wait in line.

Wow, that’s pretty lucky! Could be legit considering the payment processing issues this morning. Fingers crossed for you.
Edit... just noticed you’re going for pickup... that’s possibly even more lucky!

Man, their servers were all over the place this year.

Thanks for the screenshots, I have the same first email as you so fingers crossed we are both on for the 3rd! I'm not going to hold my breath though... I was pretty late to notice the CPW stock.
 
Please tell me Apple use DPD for delivery?

The last time I ordered a phone online was for my iPhone 6 and it was delivered by Yodel, possibly the WORST delivery company on earth. It came at 8PM when I was told 10AM, and the iPhone's box itself had all its sides squashed.

Ordered through the mobile website at 08:05 as the app wouldn't work. Got the email a minute later confirming 13-20th Nov as delivery date.

By chance, looked at CPW website around 10:00 and noticed they had them in stock for the 3rd so cancelled my Apple order and went with CPW instead.

Only thing that bothers me is that CPW couldn't deliver to my home and instead only gave the option for store pickup instead. Which is odd as I'm only a 5 minute walk from the nearest store. I have visions of me going in and them not having my order available...

That's amazing! They must have had some issues getting the stock allocated to stores to show up. Or maybe the whole system was just a mess 😵

Either way my status has moved from 'Order Placed' to 'Order in Progress'. Must be a good sign 😎

They're probably just taking money now for interest but won't ship for a long time regardless of what they said

There whole cancelling system is so ancient and pathetic, you can tell they don't let you go peacefully.

Kept my apple order and can wait for mid Nov.

My two iPhone 7s came separately last year despite being on the same order. One came by TNT the other by DPD.
Hear what your saying about Yodel, used to get the shakes whenever somebody used them, but the guy we have now (Yodeler?) is top... so really depends on where you are I guess.
 
Slightly off topic but my copy of Mario Odyssey has failed to arrive today. Must be a sign of the universe seeking balance due to securing a launch day X. Had been looking forward to an evening on the switch. Can’t win ‘em all I guess. I’m not even mad. Managed to accomplish my main goal for today
