Apple has now charged my AmEx
Strangely enough this has changed from Apple Distribution Inernational Emea to Apple Online Hollyhill UK. SO I would say direct from the UK for this meaning devices are already here.

Has anyone with a pickup from store date of this Friday 3rd gone to prepare for dispatch yet?? I checked mine last night and my bank looks to have declined the payment so rung them up and they sorted it, tried again and it worked......there’s now a pending payment coming out of my bank which is a good sign.....date still says 3rd pickup but still processing items??
I had to call apple just now. Nice man in Ireland told me that they have had a lot of problems with Apple Pay payments being processed as cash payments against Credit Cards, which have a lower Cash Withdrawal limit (mine is £300/day I think). He cancelled the Apple Pay and processed the card directly. All fixed in a few minutes (took longer to get my call put through to the after sales team in Ireland than to fix it).

My AMEX charge has now been confirmed as well (must have been in the last hour as it was still pending when I checked earlier this morning). I think we can expect our orders to change to DISPATCHED in the next couple of hours and finally start their journey from China!
My transaction still says pending on my Amex charge card.

West Quay. The Queue, for I think it was the iPhone 4, started outside the AboveBar entrance .People queued in a line as if coming from Marlands. Very Organised with refreshments from Apple. The staff came out and made sure they had enough stock to sell for the persons choice.
You’re unlikely to see a change in status for in store pickups until Thursday afternoon/evening based on the last 2 years. Can be a bit nervy seeing the delivery statuses changing but wouldn’t panic, your device will be en route to store
I suppose us with 2-3 weeks will have the comfort of the flight tracking experience. Yay.
That we be a shame - I used to enjoy sharing mine and others tracking of iPhones, iPads and MacBooks across the world. When did it change?

What do you think the chances are of getting a store reservation on the 4th are and when do you estimate that they will have it available for pick up. I am weighing up whether to place an order for home delivery (5/6 weeks wait) or trying to reserve on 4th. Looking to use iPhone payments.
Mine has been preparing for dispatch since Friday. Paid by ApplePay and the money has been showing as pending since Friday
Called Apple and had manually my payment updated without any issues. Had to wait though 25 minutes, not the best to do while in Rome for a long weekend....

Its weird they've not actually taken the money yet though. I paid by Apple Pay and the transaction went through fine, but the cash is still in my account - its still available for me to spend on something else - usually with these things i'm used to seeing it in my overall balance, but not in my available funds.
I just did a chat with Three and my date of the 10th with them has been brought forward, but they are also saying it will arrive before 1st Dec but it is track as 3rd November.

I paid throuh a Lloyds debit card and the money was hold in the pending transactions since the preorder date. I called them to check if the money will be decined but they said they are unable to check it.
