That said - as I said earlier, if you're currently on the last 11.1 beta, that's the same as the public 11.1 release, so you'll be fine! It'll just work if you try and restore an iCloud backup. It'll update your phone for you before restoring.

It almost seems like a reminder that they haven’t forgotten about you for those us with delivery dates some way off still.
Hopefully I don't jinx myself, but im with you in terms of not needing to buy Apple Care. With every iPhone ive owned; 4,5,6 and from tomorrow X i will not have bought Apple Care and thankfully never needed to.
However i did contemplate it with the X because of how expensive it is but on second thoughts Apple Care+ seems like a rip off these days, higher up front cost plus paying an excess fee for repairs!
This was one of the reasons why I desperately wanted to secure a X with John Lewis and cancel my preorder with Apple because they offered a better guarantee and after care, but im still going to settle with JL standard 2 year guarantee and keep my fingers crossed

I’m with roger on this except the screen protector. My OCD can’t tolerate any scratches to the screen.

Same Here, I always had like silicone case only and screen protectors and I am quite clumsy I think, and the only thing I ever had to fix was replacing battery in my iPhone 6 and I did it only because I wanted to wait till X. Cost me less than £40 lol.
Could some kind soul please check something on their X please...please run your finger over the sim card tray, is it a bit 'rough?'

Mine feels fine, might be worth comparing in store and getting it changed.
It gets very Warm though which I don’t like,Face ID is very cool as quick as touch not made my mind up yet,totally different colour Oled screen compared to the sammys Apple must tone them down colours especially red not as bright,lovely screen though funny coming from a 7 plus will play some more
I haven’t seen this commented on yet on here but what’s the X’s music playback like especially on headphones? For me the music is still a major factor with the iPhone so very interested to hear about this.
