UK iPhone 4S thread.

I hope so MagnusF, mine says its in Dundee "destination scan" at 9:11am. But according to apple (after a quick call) its getting delivered today!!

I HATE WAITING

On the plus side tho, with all this spare time waiting I got a new high score Doodle Jump :)

3 will kick you off their network if you persistently use 2G in an area they have 3G coverage. You can select the 2G network in the Network Selection screen where you get a choice of 3 (3G) or 3. The second one is Orange's 2G network.
 
I got a message from UPS saying they attempted to deliver it to my home address...from Croydon, anyone know if the UPS depot is open on a Saturday? I really don't wanna wait till Monday!!!
 
Yay! It's arrived - the poor dog has been desperate for a walk this morning and the house is like a bomb site, but daren't but the hoover on!

64gb Black. Ordered last Friday, 9.30am. Delivered by UPS to Newcastle. The driver said he had 20 on the van for my area of the city alone - and one of their drivers had phoned in sick this morning. He was feeling sorry for a customer as he'd just tried to deliver one, but they didn't answer, and he wasn't allowed to leave it with a neighbour.

Anyone in Glasgow received their's from UK Mail? Contrary to their website they say its out for delivery. Every van that drives past has me running to the window! What's worse is their Depot is just 2 minutes away!!
 
I wish you could track the UPS vans. That would be cool. Sick of just seeing the 'Out for delivery' message :p.

I missed my delivery due to work. Just called them up and I can collect before 8pm tonight or from 8am tomorrow...
 
I would just like to add that UK Mail are the worst courier company I've ever dealt with. I rang them this morning and they said mine would be the 3rd drop off around 9.15, I then popped out at 11 to drop my Mum to the hospital and left a note saying that any parcels can be sent to my Nan's directly across the road. I get back and theres a card saying sorry you missed us. I ring them, they then say I can either go to Birmingham to pick it up (no thanks, it's a ********) or wait till Tuesday for the next dispatch.

Actual imbeciles. Oh, and his hand writing is atrocious. I can only make out the 0's on this consignment number.

Well... everything was going great, and my 2 iPhone 4S' was out for delivery this morning via TNT... until their online tracking system, stopped tracking and a notice came up under 'status' for me to call them... turns out there was a routing error and my package was not scanned correctly and has ended up in Southampton! (I'm in Berkshire).

The upshot is... they will try to deliver them either tomorrow (on the proviso it reaches the correct depot overnight) or I can go to my local depot to collect (with 2 forms of ID).

Disappointing, but not the end of the world!

All good things... ;)
 
Mine is now (12:39) scanned into the van and is out for delivery. Should be here today I guess ;)

UKMail from Northampton depot.
 
It's funny, it seems as a lot less people have gone for the in-store option this year going by photos from Stores over here. The problem is that all the extra people asking for home delivery has lead to unreal congestion. I'm waiting for a delivery currently for my Vodafone upgrade and the state of their service is a disgrace. People being told a different story every time they call CS.

Feeling your pain, but unfortunately Apple actually won't allow them to be left with neighbours. Not to say it doesn't happen though, but that's their instructions to the couriers.
 
i'm in the centre of Birmingham and it still says 'on vehicle for delivery'

1PM and still nothing, has everyone's UPS status changed to 'Delivered' immediately after being delivered or is it going slow?

Yeah, they have done that with all other deliveries to my address, including my MBPro and iMac! It's so frustrating.
 
Has anyone with a 17/10 UPS delivery date, had their's change to today, or received it?

Mine was set for today, but has just changed to Monday's date :(
