what pathetic prices....lol....you can almost buy a macbook for the price of the 64gb version.... get the nexus prime...a lot better phone,(proper screen, not a toy one)...for free on £30 quid month i expect......cant imagine the carrier prices for the 4S are going to be reasonable....

so heres the best iphone 4 16gb contracts in the uk, by best i mean cheapest as provided by martin lewis uks cheapskate guru,...iphone 4 16gb £25 pm 12 month contract upfront cost of £335, £485 pay as you go. so presuming thats the cheapest from tesco what do you guess the 8gb will be?

I am really not happy with my GS2 so I've just sold that for £380. Was a bad bad mistake selling my 4 in the first place.

Pretty happy with my Orange staff discounted contract, then when the new one comes out next year, I'll be due my upgrade!

I can see it says its starts from £499 but where did people get the other contract free pricing from? Someone link please :)

+1. I can see the £499 on the Apple site, where are the other prices coming from?

I'm visiting London @ 7th of November. Do u think that there will be stock in the stores by then? I don't mind waiting for 3-4 hours in a queue as long as i can grab one!

i predict iph4 8gb from tesco if they sell it on 12 month contract at £20pm + £280 upfront, or should i say what im hoping for... lol

It's impossible to tell. The iPhone 4 was very hard to get hold of for the first month or so it was on sale.

Yes, does anyone have any confirmation on the sim free price of the 64GB model?

I can make a guess that it's going to be 699 pounds, although quite honestly, that's quite an absurd little price for it.

From £499 (SIM Free) seems a bit odd. So maybe £549 for 32GB and £649 for 64GB?

I sold my 32GB iPhone 4 for £380 last week so it won't make much difference.. I'll probably end up with the 64GB.

I would like to upgrade from my iPhone 4 to the 4S but i would only do so to the 32GB. If thats over £550 then its a no deal :(

Sim free prices are on the app store iPhone app

Am guessing the A5 chip and maybe extra RAM makes the difference in price and capability

Yes but apart from the obvious upgrades you mention along with camera upgrade etc it's the iPhone 4 which has been in production (for arguments sake) 18 months. Considering it's pretty much the same chassis, the costs must have been reduced over time through production. Parts become cheaper, mass production, production costs reduced etc.

I mean what price would you have expected the 5 to be. Around the same? And thats a re-design that has to start a whole new production for the new chassis, new parts etc. Just doesn't add up to me that's all.

I don't have the iPhone 4 but from my understading nobody was really complaining about speed (correct me if I'm wrong). The main request was a re-design. Siri is really going to be the main selling point. Especially considering it's only going to be available with the 4s. I just wonder if it's a bit of a novelty. Are you really going to stand talking to your phone in a crowed shop say? Everybody knowing your texts etc...

No. They don't hit the stores until the 14th. See here.

Don't think they sell any sim-free iPhones instore but I might be wrong.

I'm going to get the 64GB model probably in white as my iPad 2 is White. Hopefully I can get £350 to £400 for my unlocked iPhone 4.

I seem to remember that it was early hours for pre-order and after an hour or so shipping dates got extended back quickly?

I have no apple store near me, only a reseller.... Do resellers sell iPhones?!
