I ordered mine on the 17th and it's showing delivery between 25 Oct and 1 Nov. Really hope I get it soon since I got a good price for recycling my current iPhone 4 and that runs out on 1 November. Bit disappointed overall with the delay.
when did u order? and well i think if u swap it u will have to wait for atleas 1-2 weeks!! or if u r lucky u can get the new one straight away!
Yes, I hope to find a freesim in an apple store (convet gardem regent st., etc) but if they don't have stock for that date, I could try to buy it in a voda, 3uk, etc store... but cause I'm not from Uk, I'm a little be afraid to do that.

Do you know if, for the unlock operation, is necessary the phone is connected to the network that is unlocking it?
Or is just an sms you have to recive, so you could recive it in Uk, france, new zeland, etc (roaming)
You have just to make start the operation in the shop, and after you can be anywhere. (?)

About the unlock operation - that's an interesting question. I'll visit three and vodafones stores when I arrive.
That's also my plan, how is the unlocking procedure with three or vodafone? I don't want to come back home in Belgium with an iPhone I can't use

Ordered on the 9th. It's just arrived. It's working fine but it not being flush is about irritating; poor quality finish for a £500 phone, and my iPhone 4 doesn't have this problem. I may let Apple Customer Care know, but wait till the demand has died down a bit to actually request the swap...

Anyone who has an iPhone 4 and is disappointed with the iPhone 4s and doesn't wanna get it but there iPhone 4 is a bit knackered and warn out should do what I did, try and break it a lil or find a fault with it then take it to the apple shop and complain and after they will offer you a brand new one for £100 or less if u have apple care maybe even for free, it worked a treat for me

I ordered on 14th and it is still shown as "Processing Items" with delivery between 24th and 31st October.
