My O2 order has just been collected from O2 and scanned. Now showing in the UK Mail system for delivery tomorrow. :)

Just checked UPS Tracking Website:

"A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated"

I'm supposed to be getting it tomorrow... waiting anxiously :)

Finally, mine on progress!

Now I can not wait :D:eek:

My Apple store order has JUST been updated with the UPS tracking code (that we managed to get anyway).

My 8:15 am Apple.com order is still on "Preparing for Shipment Delivers 9/21".

Still hopeful I will get it tomorrow, but I was really hoping for a morning delivery, as I need to drive cross country by dinner time, and don't want to have a huge delay...

Anyone else in the same boat?

I FINALLY got through to a helpful T-Mobile customer service rep who told me my iPhone was “being picked” as we speak and should get delivered by UK Mail tomorrow. **fingers crossed**

For anyone who is still having trouble getting any useful information out of T-Mobile regarding iPhone 5 orders, this is how I was able to extract the info out of them.

It seems that on all T-Mobile iP5 orders, when the customer service rep’s take your information at the start of the call (address, post code, order number), a screen immediately pops up instructing them to “advise customers that phone is being released on the 21st.” The goal here, is to get them to look past this screen and to actually look into your order..

With help from what I read on the T-Mobile forums, it seems people have been getting automated e-mail responses from T-Mobile when sending emails to get status updates on orders. The automated response says something about having received the customer’s request to invoke DSR. I’m not entirely sure what this means, but it seems to be enough to confuse the T-Mobile customer service reps into looking more closely into your order. So here’s what to do…

Call 01577652091 because it’s a free number, then choose option 1, then option 1 again… When a service rep picks up tell them:

  • You’ve called recently to get a status update on your order and have been told that your order was already picked and ready for dispatch.
  • If they bother you at this stage tell them, you’ve been told they already have their iPhone stock (obviously, because the order has been picked already)
  • Then tell them you received a random email from them saying that T-Mobile has received your request to invoke DSR, and that you are confused and you just want to make sure your phone is still getting delivered.

They will then (hopefully) take a closer look into your account and be able to give you an updated status on your order, a 10 digit order number starting with 02xxxxxxxx, and what courier will be delivering your iPhone.

From what I have gathered they are using both Royal Mail and UK Mail. If your order is being delivered by UK Mail, it might help to take a look at this statement they released today:

https://www.ukmail.com/media/docs/Im...e-delivery.pdf

Hope this helps…

That ties up with the info i was given on Tuesday regarding my 10 digit order number starting 02. Phoned today and was put through to deliveries. Phone showed up on the delivery department's system. She said it gets scanned going onto the van, so that they can track it, and this had happened but was still waiting on the tracking number showing on her system. She is phoning me back at 6 with (hopefully) that tracking number

Yes it is. However, others have reported the references for upgrades don't work. I'm a new customer.

this is correct upgrade references dont work :( and iv just spoken to orange who are totally adamant that the iPhone is still not in stock lol idiots...

was more curious about the orange website see if I can see anything on my order, is there a section you went to or something? curious to know my upgrade progress

Did you upgrade through Orange? Was it on their website or phone?

I upgraded through the website and I have had no notification email or text. The support from Orange is awful!

Jesus, Orange are a joke. I called up again, spoke to a guy who said he can't give me a reference number to track from the orange website never mind one to use with the courier. Apparently my order is still showing 'no stock'.

He then said that his latest update from 'apple' is that Orang were initially trying to get stock and ship tomorrow but now they're not leaving until tomorrow. However instead of havin to wait until Monday, Orange have got UKMail to deliver on Saturday, after some umming and aahing about Royal Mail.

So he reckons Saturday for me. I said what about folks orders who've got tracking to say shipped? Oh, we'll some fight have been fulfilled but they won't be delivered until Saturday or later.

Monkeys I tell you, why can't they just stick with one bloody answer.
