My iPhone 4 that is awaiting the upgrade to iPhone 5, just switched to Everyone Everywhere. New carrier details downloaded.

Interesting... I still have no Facetime over 3G though for some reason even on iOS6 (GM)

Check you settings as my facetime was turned off after I downloaded ios6

tell me about it..... finally found a order tracking page just to get

"The number you entered is not a valid Orange Shop order number. Please try again."

https://services.orange.co.uk/wps/portal/public/ordertracking

If I don't get anything today I'm going to cancel my order and go through 3. I don't care that it may take longer to get a phone, it's only a bloody phone. What I hate is that they have my money and are not prepared to tell me what is happening!

Bah, my UPS status hasn't changed from label created.

Not worrying at all though. Never had a late item from Apple, or UPS. So the two combined is a perfect recipe for reliable delivery service :)

Hi guys,

I'm planning to queue up at the Cambridge Apple store tomorrow, the normal opening time is 9AM but I read somewhere the Apple stores open earlier for the launch. Is this true?

What are the odds of getting my hands on an actual phone btw :)?

Syncreon order has update slightly, now has some tracking history, which wasn't there this morning. :)

At least their website is now up, but for how much longer??

Does anyone know if the mobile shops (T Mobile) are opening early tomorrow in Birmingham (Bullring).
I've seen on their website that some are ...to cope with demand, was maybe thinking of picking up my nano sim before work! Otherwise I have to wait until saturday

Well, the earlier you go, the more likely you are to get one. When I went to the iPhone 4 launch at the Apple Store, I left at about 04:00 and got there at about 05:00, and I was already number 30-something in the queue.

I'd say: if you don't mind losing some sleep, and you've got good enough bladder control, then just as early as you can! I believe the retail stores open at 08:00. If so, I would aim to get there at 06:00 at the latest. The worst that can happen is that you're first in the queue...which isn't a bad thing at all!

yea i got there at 6am last year and was around 30 and i got my choice of phone, think ill leave at 5am tomorrow and hope for the best...

I was told only way to cancel upgrade at this point is to refuse delivery of your phone

Guaranteed....

... they have lots of demo units in store ;)

In seriousness, I believe they open at 8am on launch days. As long as you get there before 8am, you should manage to get a phone - how long you have to wait is anyone's guess.

Stores open at 8 tomorrow - no idea of your chances, depends on what time you get there.

I wish my iPhone was in Hinckley. That's only a 15 minute drive from where I live :p
My phone is in Hinckley which is a bit more than 15 minutes away, but it is being collected by UK mail and taken even further away before coming here.

Who else has tomorrow off from work to get their phone?

Yes I do :)
Hopefully it comes in the morning, so I can go into work for the afternoon.

Last time my retina MBP was delivered about 3pm by UPS so hopefully it's earlier than this
