The only experience I've ever had with Tamworth is getting stuck there for about 4 hours when a train was delayed.

UPS are now cementing my hatred for the place. :D

EDIT - We have departure! Place ain't so bad.

Orange

OMFG! My orange order that I've had no information about at all, other than a reference number, JUST TRACKED ON UK MAIL AND ITS DISPATCHED AND AT LOCATION FOR DELIVERY TODAY. I am so flipping excited. At last :D:D:D:D:D

Just to add was a online upgrade last Friday morning, no confirmation email or anything but woohoo!

Mines also finally left Tamworth, it should be on it's way to Swansea (3hr drive) to be sorted then out for delivery :D

Mine must be on the same truck (on its way to Bridgend). My problem is that I am in the Middle East at the moment but my wife is flying over to visit me tonight. She's leaving Bridgend at 2 pm so I am hoping for an early delivery so that she can bring it with her.

Expected delivery for 24th via UK Mail, though it was collected by them on the afternoon of the 20th. It's "at delivery location" so I suppose they must deliver on foot in this part of the world. Still, it's nice to know that at least part of this household will have their phone soon.

Mine's (ordered through Apple: 32GB) arrived at Exeter, final destination Plymouth; not sure if it'll stay there till morning.

Ahhh! So excited now! Left tamworth at 10:30pm arrived at deeside (Closest depo) at 1am, now 3 hours later its out for delivery! Woo and since i live 1 hour away from deeside i should be one of the first to get it.

Hope everyone gets theirs on time and to those queuing up now outside Apple stores, rather you than me but kudos!

:apple: Forever!

I'm returning my order for a refund as I'm now getting the iPhone from a T-Mobile store.

I was told to refuse delivery and it would get sent back to Apple. Has anyone done that before? What do I say to the delivery guy? Can I call the courier and tell them not to even bother delivering it?

Thanks.

You should refuse to collect an item and tell him to send it back and state in your account that iPhone will be returned.

Mines already out for delivery, at 4:30am

I live around 10 miles from UPS, so close :D

Anyone queing at the Trafford center shout YO!!!

Not queuing this time (did for the iP4 a couple of years back). Are Apple still laying on coffee and donuts or similar? And if so, can the people queuing outside O2 see you snarfing them? ;)

----------

I'm queing at TCand it's total kaos!
I called the police to contact TC security.

I'll bite, what's going on?

The Syncreon tracking site isn't updating but UKMail is. Mine is showing as "at delivery location" which I assume is the local depot

Hahahahaha, I'm in the Eldon Square shopping center in Newcastle, it has multiple entrances. They opened ours first and we got inline outside the Apple store. 10 minutes later all you could hear was loads of screams, shouting and people running. A stampied of about 100 people came running through the mall thinking they were first with security guards chasing them.

Priceless.

Hmmmm, taking its time...

My Tamworth departure scan was 00:19 and still on the road, doesn't take that long to get to London but guessing it will all happen quickly like last year, think it got to Croydon and left again for delivery within about 10 mins at 8-9am ish.

The mental picture I have is of the Ant Hill Mob from Penelope Pitstop all charging along en masse with a dustcloud at their feet.

Apologies to anyone too young to understand what the hell I'm on about.

:D

Mine is almost here....

Just a few more hours and my new baby will be in my hands...

You serious? I'm in NI. Exact same situation as you only my email confirmation of order was at 8.05am...so earlier ... .... but lo and behold, my delivery date says 24th - what on earth is going on ? It's a wee bit ridiculous ....and like you say, zone 1 on the apple map ..

If I don't get my phone tomorrow I'll be fuming :(

Mine left castle donnington in the wee small hours and arrived in newtownabby at 5:35am
Now even tho I have the 24th as delivery date, surely it will now be put on a van and delivered today? Please don't tell me they will hang onto it until Monday morning. That would be ridiculous. I'm only about 50mins away from newtownabby.

So I woke up at half 5 and still no text from UK Mail. thanks a lot Orange! If I wasn't in a 2 year contract I would change to T mobile straight away

Mine is still in Runcorn, and no updates since 9:30pm last night.

I'm taking that as they don't have an insane amount to get out and mine will be with me before dinner
