UK iPhone 5 thread

On the apple order status did it say - Delivers on or before 21.09.2012?

If so I wouldn't worry to much - It will probably still turn up. When the fanboys smash up a mail server to get tracking you can be guaranteed the site is going to go down.

I'm lucky in a way that I'm an electrician and re-wiring my house so can work at my own pace so doesn't matter to much whether it arrives today / tomorrow next week.

I'm more annoyed that I have to drive to an EE store to get the simcard changed because there incompetent and couldn't send them out before today. That and having to pay to change it. Rubbish!
 
I phone ordered but didnt give an email address so i havent had any tracking info to follow, My "contact" at 3 just emailed me, should be delivered between 9.31 and 10.31 :cool:

Just phoned UPS. Apparently, contrary to the website our IPhone's have NOT arrived in Newtownabbey yet and are in transit.

UPS say that the delivery arranged with Apple was for Monday. Shambolic.

I'd guess the stores get them in Dailey. Last time (as I recall) you had to pre order the night before, for collection the next day in store. They released so many each day...

Mine says out for delivery and that I should get it by the end of the day.:confused:

If it was anything like last year - When there stock runs out, they give tickets to people and then you can only pick up a phone with a ticket. After there supply outweighs the tickets remaining you get a phone off the shelf.

I think the was a timeframe the tickets had to be used by I would imagine a week / 2 tops.

I think its to stop a massive amount of people all going to the depot's. Gives them a chance to clear some of the phones out.

I've got UPS ... They have an option on their to get it held, but thats for the info service accounts which I don't have so was going to just call the depot ... Hmm :eek:
 
UKmail has the names of the people doing the scanning, including I think the driver.

Guess It would be too weird to greet them at the door with their name...

How on earth can it have delivery history then .... That's suspicious.

I live in Colchester, paid for Amazon to deliver something next day - Yodel get it at there colchester depot, give it to a driver who takes it to Blackburn?? Then Yodel tell me it will be delivered next day, they are sorry blah blah. Next Day arrives still not here?? Call them up and apparently shouldn't have been told it would be next day. They can deliver it on a saturday! almost a week later. Few F's down the phone and I just tell them I will come and pick it up myself from Colchester Depot.

All this and the annoying thing is I live pretty much adjacent to the depot!

Email from Three saying it'll arrive between 8:59 and 9:59, DPD seem to have got their act together!!

I just got a text saying my orange order is due for delivery Friday...should I take that as today or next Friday?

The girl on the phone says it was a mistake and they are in a container heading that way.

She also said i could not collect it as 1 delivery attempt must be made.
 
UK Mail website is working really slowly!!

Anyone tried calling them to get an estimate on their delivery time?
