Just thought I'd let you know that UK Mail have confirmed that if you request that your iPhone does not go out again for delivery tomorrow by calling them today, they allow you to pickup your phone tomorrow.

Give them a call and stop tomorrows delivery and pick it up from the depot. :)

That's good to know - thanks very much for sharing. They've now said the driver will retry on his way back tonight, so fingers crossed it won't be necessary, especially as it's a 70-mile round trip to their depot.

Mines still 'out for delivery'. Popped home quickly for lunch in the hope I might be lucky enough to catch UKMail, but no such luck. Off back to work in minute.

My excitement is kind of waning though due to the scuff issues. Lets see what happens when I get it

Hopefully they'll deliver it later then. It's happened to me on a previous occasion. They couldn't find my address because it's a new build and not on Tom Tom maps. Phoned them and they delivered it on their way back to the depot later that night.

I've always found UK Mail to be quite good with deliveries. :)

Haha, I'm in exactly the same position as you! I'm just outside Bath near Keynsham, still no sign yet. I've literally done nothing all morning, other than staring out the window for a ukmail van to stop! It's not even that exciting as I live down a dead end lane in the middle of no where! :)

Ha, I live in a courtyard of flats and it seems that someone's ordered an army of builders and surveyors because there have been tons of white vans come in and out but none of them UK Mail! It's torturous.

I think both our phones will be coming from Severn Beach (nearest SW depot) so let me know when you get yours :)

Think i could have walked to Tamworth from Birmingham and got the iPhone by now.. Can't believe its only 12:51pm... i feel i have been up for days. I was awake at 7am... which isn't really that early.

Yeah, i get nearly 7mbps down with three over 3G at the minute on my 4S.

Looks like 4G on EE isn't going to be so great after all.

The only thing that's good about 4G is that it has waaaaaay higher capacity and constant speeds and better at handling more traffic. Coverage and indoor is better too.

Three 3G is awesome <3

Yeah, similar situation for me. Drivers normally call me if they can't find me, and to be fair the UK Mail driver apparently tried to as well. Unfortunately my number is being ported from O2 to 3 today and because their systems are being hammered so hard with new iPhone 5 activations, the switchover that should normally take a few minutes has meant my number has been unavailable for several hours now.

You say that, but remember the connection from the mast onwards is exactly the same whether you're on 3G or 4G. That's the limiting factor for the speed you'll be able to get on 4GEE.

My wife's iPhone has just been delivered by DPD on schedule. Mine, however, is being delivered by UKMail so I don't know when it's going to get here.

A bit odd that they're with two separate couriers seeing as they are both O2 upgrades, ordered at exactly the same time last Friday!!

Trying to resist the urge to open my wife's phone before she gets home!
