I just moved to Southampton yesterday, and was wondering if any locals would recommend a mobile phone provider with the best reception around city centre, Highfield campus, and the General Hospital?

I'm on O2 and have never had any problems in those areas, but my iPad has a better signal around there, and that's using a 3 sim.

Ok, if this is the first time you have used the sim, then it probably needs to be activated, which should be done automatically within 24 hours of you putting it in the phone. Although Three might be able to activate it for you over the phone i think as some people have said they have.

I asked the man where he was going next, he said 2 deliveries in North Finchley, London then he was going back to Kentish Down depot for more and start heading East London.

No scuffs or dings on my black...yet.

I get O2 3G everywhere. Three is great too. If you're on Highfield steer clear from Orange and T-Mobile... my mates never have signal

cant get 3g signal on my new three contract on iPhone, can't send texts or ring anyone, rang three and they said wait 24hrs. anyone else having that sort of problem?

It's usually quicker than 24 hours but as today will be busy who knows. Turn your phone off completely every hour or so then back on again and see if you have a signal.

Just had my phone deleivered from Apple via UKMail. I amin the W3 area in London. If anyone is in this area then they should be there son. the guy had a list 3 pages long.

It will initially be capped at 21Mbps from what I've read

Orange Shop Closed today

I pre-ordered as an upgrade last Friday in-store (Macclesfield) as I was unable to get through on the Orange customer helpline and the website was down.
I was told I would be contacted this week with an appointment time today to collect my phone, to save queuing up etc.
Still no phone call this morning, so thought I'd just turn up at the stop (lunch time). Interestingly enough the shop was closed, with all lights off and some members of staff hanging around the door outside in their coats. There was a sign on the door stating that there is a power outage and that they are unable to open today.

Seems a bit coincidence to me... None of the other high street shops were closed.

I smell a rat Orange... Did you not get enough supplies to meet pre-order demand? Chickens...

Thanks, that seems to give me the names of all the people who processed my package in the depot, but no drivers name that I can see

Uk mail delivered in W9 but not for me

If you use this site that ukmail released because of the server outage. Follow the detail right through and it tells you driver details.
