UK iPhone 5 thread

I am, i ordered from T-Mobile but havnt had anything yet, dont even have a delivery tracking number
 
My o2 says order is still under progress ......

BUT MY PHONE JUST ARRIVED!!! SO HAPPY!

Preordered my iPhone 5 32GB black EARLY last friday. Just received a call apologising they cannot deliver. For the same price they are sending a 64GB white model for tomorrow.

P.S. This is with 3 UK by the way.

Don't worry, I work in Logistics and we often deal with carriers and sometimes getting several consignments that are due for the same address, on the same truck, isn't feasible for whatever reason.

I bet your iPhone is on a separate truck, so sit tight!

Hope you all enjoy your new, shiny iPhone's. I'm sticking with my 4S for the foreseeable future, but it's great watching all the fun unfold!
 
When will UK contract prices for the 4 or 4S go down?

Apple Store pricing has dropped but all that's happened on TM/VF/OR/O2/3's websites is that the 3GS has disappeared. The cheapest contract iPhone you can buy is now £25/m from £21 yesterday..

Sorry, can't make you feel better, but I had the same question in mind this morning. I ordered from Apple, partner upgraded through Orange and got the first indication that it was being delivered via a text from Orange this morning.

I took delivery for both separate orders at the same time by the same UKMail-man this morning....

[Edit] If it's any consolation, the apple delivery is robustly packaged :) The Orange iPhone was just rattling around in the original box in a bag...!!! Orange box was scuffed and dented but both handsets are perfect.
 
Just seen a UPS van try to deliver one to a neighbour, they weren't even in.
Here's me sitting like a mug at home waiting for UK Mail to get off there arses and turn up.

I hope this isn't always the case with everyone lol.....otherwise i'm stuffed......my status still says 'out for delivery' so i'm not panicking too much....yet! :eek:
 
Oh man, I've been ready since 07:30, it has another two hours to arrive before I'm out for the rest of the evening. Peak times on the roads at this time of the day on a Friday afternoon in central London isn't gonna help either.
 
UPS man has just been! (HA5)
Said he started the day with a massive pallet full of them.
Delivered 50 to one house... said they're shipping them to china.
 
After close inspection I could only find one tiny chip just above the right screw next to the lightning port. Nothing I cant live with but I'd hate to think of what it might look like after a couple of months!
