UK iPhone 5s and 5c Thread

New here, Hello :)

How is everyone getting on with their pursuit for the iPhone?
Mine got dispatched today. One thing I'm not too sure about is Apple say that it will get to me on the 7th via e-mail, 8th-11th online yet UPS say the 4th? For once I'm hoping Apple are wrong :p

I have a gold 64gb on order from CPW.

When I ordered the estimated delivery was 4th October. I have noticed today this has changed to the 9th October on their website.

Not sure if this is the expected date pushed back or they have allocated all the phones expected on the 4th and the next delivery is the 9th.

I had one on order and cancelled when I managed to phone them and get an honest CPW person who told me there was no way I'd get my phone when I'd been told! I'd phone them and ask for honesty on delivery date - even then (in my experience) they'll possibly lie!

Yeah I think that's anyone who orders from now it will be the 9th and yourself will be the 4th but I'm tempted to call either Apple or UPS to see what day it may be but I don't want to risk anything :D
 
I think they don't always show intermediate airports. Was the same with the flight from Hong Kong -showed US as its destination but didn't always mention it's stop in Dubai

Does anyone know if iPhone 5 screen protectors will fit 5s? Is the home button considerably larger with Touch ID? Thanks :)
 
What's people experiences of how long it stood at preparing for dispatch before it was actually dispatched?

I went into preparing saturday morning and i could track by reference on the UPS website early monday and Apple said it shipped later in monday morning
 
For those of us who've been stuck in Germany for the last day, I see it going one of three ways.

1. They'll fly to Britain tonight and get delivered tomorrow, regardless of any schedule that says Wednesday.
2. Theyll stay in Germany for another day.
3. Or theyll fly to Britain tonight, and sit in a warehouse here for a day.

I hope its the first one, but since mine is scheduled for Wednesday, I ain't gonna get too hopeful until i at least see it being received at my local depot.

Come on ups, do the right thing!

I have asked in store and rang customer services and to be honest I don't think they have a clue when they will be here. I am hoping they will be getting them this week as things do appear to be moving now with gold.

Ordered the same about 20 mins later, went to preparing to dispatch at about 4pm today.

Funny thing is card issuer said payment was declined as suspect fraud so rang Apple and they said they got payment OK.

We'll know if its 1 or 3 vey shortly I think. 5X237 is just about to land at Cologne from East Midlands and I hope that it will return the way it came early tomorrow.

It'll be option 2 or 3, they seem to be waiting for another batch to catch up with ours?
 
Yep. All the planes are coming in to land now. Then they empty, sort and refill with all the planes leaving around 2am to go back to their respective countries.

Out of the options earlier, I'm pretty sure they will fly tonight. If they fly on Wednesday morning, they may not be able to deliver to further locations in the UK by Wednesday evening.
 
My phones been dispatched and has left china now. Does anyone know Is it still possible to change the delivery address as I'm now not in work that day. If so would it slow shipment down?
 
237 is showing as Louisville to EMA with the track going via CGN so it must be a stopover.

Sadly you can't now no. You'll have to wait until UPS have tried to deliver. Have you checked your local UPS delivery office? You could collect after work if you have the delivery card?
