Well, my 16gb gold is now in Germany :D

Apple site still estimating Wednesday delivery, but UPS tracking says Monday by 'end of day' :D

Any idea if this 'scheduled delivery' is likely to change now?

what I don't understand is how an apparently instant system of the tracking process is so slow and delayed. Like many of you , I have a phone apparently sitting in Cologne, import scan at 04.04. (Surely it should have arrived first?) When it arrived at Hong Kong, the arrival scan was timed at 23.35, but the website was not updated for hours after that. (I last checked at about 02.00 Hong Kong time and no update).
If the UPS system scan to website is so slow, it is conceivable that deliveries are missed because people have assumed, incorrectly, that their item is still in Cologne, when, in fact, it is on a van outside their door.
Or could there be another explanation for the UPS tracking site not updating on a browser when it should?

Damn :/ Anyone got an idea when the next UK flight from Cologne to the UK is?

There's a few not sure which one ours would be though there was also one that landed about 6 or 7am this morning. Dunno if there's a chance we'll get them today now :-/ if UPS delivered of Saturday it would be so much better ¬_¬

I've thought this, because when I was checking for updates there wasn't any but when they did show, they should've shown at the time I originally checked if you get me? So with that in mind maybe there is a chance we'll get them today, after all if it's taking hours to update there's only a couple of hours between Germany and arriving at our doors.

The online tracking info is definitely delayed, because looking at ones delivered yesterday they had a departure scan 7 minutes before the arrival scan in Germany but it didn't appear till after.

I guess they might have to have it slight delayed for security of something like that?

But I do think its likely that our phones are in the UK now

I'm thinking and hoping this too as well. I just don't see why our phones would hang around for no apparent reason when they could be shipped over. Do you think there's a chance we'll see our phones today?

Unfortunately i don't think we will get them today, its now 8:23 am in the UK if we were going to get them today they would be "out for delivery" last time i checked they were still in Germany :( guess its going to be Monday now.

Ordered on the 20th – 5s White/Silver 64. Estimated delivery 8th–11th October. Sigh.

Then got an e-mail Monday to say ordered has been shipped. Estimated delivery 8th–11th October. Why such a long time to ship?

Today, clicked the 'Track Shipment' link from the e-mail, estimated delivery 7th October. Nice!

Then an hour back, clicked 'Track Delivery' from the Apple Orders page. Out for delivery: Estimated Delivery 4th October. Sweet! Will arrive tomorrow!

But Out for Delivery?! What, for more than 24hrs? Then ran a search on the UPS Tracking number: Delivered 2pm. Delivered? WTF?!

Rang my wife: 'Oh yeah, a package just came for you'.

Am working from home this afternoon...

Guys there's hope for today. This guy got so lucky. Jealous right now!

Apple get their tracking updates from UPS... so if UPS say delivery is scheduled for 7th, then unless that jumps there's little hope. I think it's very unlikely that our phones got to the UK, to their destination hub, and then onto a van for delivery all without any tracking status updates.

I think the opposite, I think the phones are going out for delivery now, the tracking is off, look at #5518, that was originally posted at 1400 a few hours after he noticed an update.

He seems to be the exception to the rule; everyone else has had the UPS tracking advise them in advance that the item was out for delivery. I like your optimism though!

While this is true, UPS tracking is a bit dodgy this week. My phone was delivered near Edinburgh on Wednesday and all UPS ever showed was the destination scan in Edinburgh, while the Apple site was actually showing 'Out for Delivery' - so I think UPS are having issues with their public tracking site this week.

Oh and the destination scan was long after the phone had actually left the depot to go out for delivery.

Obviously all the tracking is out, Apple says it will arrive on Wed, UPS say it will arrive on Mon. So straight away it doesn't add up. Looking at previous posts, a lot of people get it the day before scheduled, contrary to the tracking.
