I ordered the 16gb Gold on the 20th and it says "Dispatched: by October 18" and "Delivery: 25th Oct, 2013 by Standard Shipping"

erm.............I ordered on the 24th of September and I have still had no update whatsoever whereas other people have been getting updates saying when they'll ship by...any idea whats going on?

Really getting annoyed now. I ordered a 16gb gold on 20th September, and it's still stuck on processing, and i havent even received a "dispatched by october 18th" update. It just says October. This is ridiculous. Should I ring them?

Yeah, just off the phone to them. The rep was really nice but couldn't provide me with anything other than 'I know as much as you do'.

She did say that, given a few 16G Space Grey orders from October have now received dates per some of the above posts, mine should change 'within the next few days' but that was probably an off the cuff remark.

Getting quite annoyed right now but what's the point.

Finally had an update as to when to expect my order. I ordered the black one after getting a Gold on launch day, the gold just felt too similar to the white iPhone 5 I had last year, rocking a really badly battered black 16GB iPhone 5 atm, so can't wait for my 5S to arrive so I can have all my music back and the beautiful new space grey colour

i also ordered 5s silver 32gb on 25 sept,i have Preparing for Dispatch status for the 4 time..and cant find it on ups site either..

Exactly the same as your but ordered on the 26th Sept. Seems unfair everyone else had a dispatch date

32 GB Silver ordered on 22 Sept for October deliver was despatched this morning, ETA according to UPS is 16 Oct.

A general question for those that've got their phones already, do you get a "Dispatched" email with the tracking info when it dispatches or do you have to go back to the Your Orders section on the Apple store to find out?

Yep same! Ordered Gold 16GB on the 7th. Dispatching 24th-28th and delivery Nov 4th.
