Likewise. I did actually fire off a nuclear complaint via email yesterday. It still stands. But finally happy for it to be on its way. :D

In my mind buying from Apple was just easier and less hassle. My 4S still works fine so I'm not that fussed!

Worth mentioning that Three are probably the most accommodating and easy to deal with to get an unlock. Only takes a day or 2 after buying for a PAYG handset to be unlocked.
 
For anyone near Basingstoke Festival Place, I phoned them up earlier regarding something else and asked them about the 5s's on a side note and the guy said to me he has 16GB Gold and 32GB Space Grey in at the moment, this was at about 14:00 BST
 
Just been Apple Store at Trafford Centre for a new case for the mrs and walked out with a 64GB Gold 5s, online order cancelled. Very happy

That's the tracking on my delivery which was dispatched from UK.
My order status went from "processing" to "preparing to dispatch" yesterday morning. It dispatched last night and was with me this morning before 9. Interesting how they rushed my replacement through finally.

I had a follow up call today from the Online Executive (who had my forwarded email to Tim Cook). He was very apologetic and he also said he would put a £35 credit on my account. Does anyone know where I can actually see a credit like this on my account, as I can't seem to find it.

I'm just happy it's finally all sorted.
 
Quick question - mine is shipping via standard shipping on the 18th and arriving on the 25th... Is there an express shipping option?
 
Crazy!

Ive been reading some of the posts on here and focusing mostly on the ones that are posting relentlessly about their phones progress every 5cm, or more to the point lack of progress. Im an apple fan but this kind of obsession is embarrassing for general apple clientele! Order your phone and go and have a life! It could take anything up to 3 weeks to arrive. Its just a phone! Get over it!!! ..??

Thankfully phones are proving to be fruitful now so hopefully this will reduce but only briefly unfortunately until next year! :(

However generally posts are of interest and useful. Rant over!!

Just out of interest, is that a full RETAIL replacement, or just a new phone?

I am thinking the latter as I am pretty sure all new phones are still shipping from China and not the UK yet.

Gotta love ups...... It's now 8:10pm I called and the lady was like I can send them a message but you won't heard to the morning. How can they just no deliver it?!!! :mad: bloody joke

Now its the second wave, so, gather round, everyone who ordered october-ish.

I ordered on the 6th. Dispatch by 18th.

I ordered on the 5th and no such luck, still saying dispatch between 24th and 28th oct, boo!!!

I ordered Silver 16GB on 28th September. Just checked Apple site and phone is preparing for dispatch. Although I haven't waited as long as some, I'm relieved not to see Processing.

I'm one of the Dispatched by 18th - Delivery by 25th folks.
 
I ordered mine on the 13th, last Sunday, delivery between 5th-11 Nov, 32 gb Gold, long long wait! Lol God help me!

Seriously? I live 20 min from there.. Tempted to get a 16gb gold from the store tomorrow then cancel my online order which doesn't plan on getting to me until next month..

I ordered mine on the 13th and have the same dates... Ordered 64gb in gold. I don't know if I'll be able to wait that long :/

Just keep checking the stores like me, might get lucky like Aidy06, he picked one up from trafford Center today, and just cancel the online one! Because a month is just too much for a phone!!
