Received my Gold 64GB on Monday, 14/10 after a long wait (from launching weekend).. looks amazing, but.. today I had to sort out my replacement which will have to be brand new and I can keep my first phone until new one is delivered.
Reason: camera - flashlight didn't work as expected, shadows and green dot
battery - lost 20% after 1 hour of use with everything off (notifications, background apps, wifi, bluetooth etc..)
Well.. I am hoping that me new phone will be spot on..for £709 I expect to be.. :)

Your battery will be poor. With all my iPhones it takes a week for the battery to reach its full capacity.

Think of it like a balloon. You blow it up and let it down a few times. Each time it stretches and gets bigger.
 
Can't believe my luck! Called apple they have sent for an investigation to be done by UPS so god know how long till I get my iphone :( :mad: so angry! Just got to wait for ups to contact me... Don't know why would of thought it would be sorted out by apple ahhhhhhh

Yes, I got that, but if you loose 20% after an hour of use (texting and checking emails), something is wrong..I guess..but then the camera issue bothered me..I have upgraded to get the better pictures, but it just didn't work
 
How can I work out the flight and where the phone will be going on route?

so its possible mine might follow a simliar time scale..mine was 20.10 today so won't move now until tomorrw i guess
 
It says world ease...where would i be looking for what sort of shipping it is
on apple site it says "standard shipping"
 
okay..i had no choice of shipping when i ordered...i would have paid more to get it quicker...it just said standard delivery..no options
 
By my calculations mine is due in Germany at 3.41 tomorrow morning. UPS have my delivery as 22nd.

Off to find that pesky plane. :p

I dont know what time its moving on from there, to probably Dubai.. I'll be keeping an eye out :)

my apple account now says delivery by 23rrd and not 25th which is cool as its my b'day
