Regent Street only had grey in stock at 08:30 this morning (they appeared to have loads looking at how full the bags of reservation cards were). Stratford had no stock at 09:05 this morning.

From speaking to store staff over the past few weeks, it seems the majority of stock has been grey, some silver and few gold. So I'm assuming that Apple vastly underestimated the popularity of the silver/gold, is unable to make as many silver/gold models or they are having to hold the silver/gold for online orders.

It is. First one from Apple Online Store faulty, second from from Apple Retail Store Faulty. If this one's faulty, I'm switching to Android.

Here is the tracking for my first phone:

Slight mistake about it moving over the weekend, but you can see that it arrived at Castle Donnington on the same day as ours did and was delivered on Monday. Therefore, our phones should come on Monday.

Thanks for supplying that, not that I doubted you. At least I can arrange for someone to be home on Monday. Perhaps I'll work from home.

If your using an Italian credit card, you'll be charged the price plus any exchange rates on top. This isn't an apple issue, it's with your card company itself. Although, where is the card being shipped too? What Apple site did you order from? English or Italian?

I'm using an italian credit card (Visa), I always use the card to buy from US or UK and I've never been charged so much. Maybe it's just the hold which is different from the final charge, I cannot be sure until the delivery.

I've ordered from apple.co.uk and the iPhone 5S is being shipped to UK.

As has been said, nothing to do with Apple. They will charge your card at the UK GBP price. Your bank will then convert that to Euro at whatever rate they have.

Maybe you should contact your bank and ask them.

How does the reservation system work?

No problem, the flights to Dubai tomorrow are really early around 3-6am I think so we should know tomorrow from UPS tracking if they are on it...if not Monday to Germany I reckon.

How does the reservation system work?

When you turn up at the store they'll give you product cards for the device(s) you want (assuming there is stock). You then wait to be served. When it's your turn, you give them your reservation card(s) and they get your phone and you pay for it. They only give out enough tickets for the devices. So if they have 50 x Space Grey 64GB iPhones, they'll only give out 50 reservation tickets for that model (each person can choose two iPhones).

In previous years, Apple have offered a reservation system where you reserve the phone online and collect from the store the next day. They've not done that this year. In the USA this year, they offered a pay and collect reservation system where you purchase the phone online for instore pickup. Instead for people in the UK, we have to try our luck at the store each day (or buy online or from a mobile network).

Thank you!

Thanks, I know but I couldn´t see Koeln and I was really worried

Don't worry the next flight to Koeln / Cologne is Monday at 17.40. If it does go that route and not via Dubai hopefully it goes straight from Cologne to Stansted or East Midland Monday night / Tuesday morning:)

Great! But is it possible that UPS can make a mistake in date of scheduled delivery ?

I understand, thanks for your help

No problem :) if it makes you feel any better have a quick look about how people have had things shipped over week last two weekends and the routes and times it took.. I have had a brief look through and there is still bags of time from now until Wednesday even if nothing moves tomorrow and it waits until Monday.

We will know more tomorrow afternoon / evening. If there is no update on UPS tracking suggesting it has gone to Dubai or via the US (should go this way I think) then it will be moving direct to Cologne on Monday.

I must fly to London to visit my friend to take it because I was so interested
