Good morning scottish, good morning all..I awoke to see a 03.52 departure scan from HK, so I guess it will be in Dubai by now? I see from http://www.dubaiairport.com/en/passengers/flightstatus/pages/CargoDepartures.aspx that all the flights to Germany have departed now...I have had no arrival in Dubai or departure to Germany on the UPS tracking yet but I guess that takes a few hours to go through.

Apple Stores don't have deliveries on Sunday so if they sold out yesterday then there'll be no stock today. Regent Street had loads yesterday at 8:30am but only Space Grey and I'd be very surprised if there was any left by lunchtime yet alone the end of the day. Stratford City had no stock at just after 9am yesterday (I didn't try other stores).
I believe that Apple Stores in the UK only have deliveries on Tuesdays to Saturdays.

To be honest I would think that if they ship (which they do) then they will update.
Others will know better than I how long it usually takes for them to update their system after the event has occured....but I do recall some people not have an update for a while and then a couple of events being detailed on the ups website. Importantly, just because there are not updates it doesn't nessessarily mean that the shipment isn't moving

Dubai are pretty slack with scans, sometimes u dont see a scan till the phone has long left dubai.
Not true, Manchester Trafford Centre got a huge delivery on Wednesday and a smaller delivery on the Monday. I don't think they have set days for deliveries

The three London stores I spoke to (Stratford, Covent and Regent) have all said, on several occasions, that they only receive deliveries Tuesday to Saturday. I assumed that they don't receive deliveries on Monday because the items would need to have been sent on the Friday (which would probably arrive on the Saturday). However, Apple may be distributing these themselves or via distribution channels which operate 6 or 7 day working weeks. I wasn't sure the Tuesday to Saturday delivery schedule was correct which is why I said I believe that the stores receive deliveries Tuesday to Saturday.
Yeah I was just saying that the store at Trafford Centre received a delivery on Monday morning but they said it was only a small delivery, then on the Wednesday they received a large delivery. I don't know if it's store specific or not, it could be though. Have you managed to get one yet or are waiting on an online order?
I've been told as well by Apple arndale that they get deliveries Tuesdays to Saturdays, but anyway, mine is supposed to be delivered 5th- 11Nov, but got told by an apple employee might get it sooner, do you think there's any chance ill get it sooner? Or am i looking at nearer the 11th?

I've already got mine, got it on Wednesday
Trafford definitely had one this Monday just gone because I rang and they said they'd had a small delivery with just Space Greys, they then got a much larger one on the Wednesday. There's every chance you could get it earlier, I think a few people received there's earlier than Apples delivery date
Yes, I'm happy with it. It's probably the best S upgrade yet IMO, really liking the gold too. I'm sure you'll be happy with yours too, the sliver look nice
