O2 pricing is weird just had a look to see about ordering online and its a bit crazy!

32gb Gold 5s
£380 now and £10 a month for 24 months = £620
£280 now and £15 a Month For 24 months = £640
£699 now and £0 a month for 24 months = £699

Does that make any sense?

same dilema! i'm edging towards gold.. it doesnt look as garish as I thought a gold phone would do..

also nice to see some familiar names from similar nights over the last few years!

Thinking that Gold in the Beige case looks good... if you need help deciding there is a handy tool at the bottom of this page that lets you see what the different colour phone in each case looks like...

I was thinking about getting the Gold 32GB BUT with there being shortages (apparently on the gold) i'm not sure if i should go space grey. Would this make a difference as I'm ordering online? from Apple

I think Gold will probably be sold out first.

Is anyone else going to order online, then go queue tomorrow, and cancel the online order if you manage to pick up one?

I spotted that too, very strange!

Either is fine by me as i'm going space grey! :) 64Gb for the win!

Meh, already have a Black 5 which is almost the same, I think I'm going to continue alternating colours like I've been doing for a while, so silver it is :)

I sure hope it arrives quicker than 7-10 days! I am not sure why I am staying up to order a phone which is going to arrive at least a week after release - I miss pre-orders :(

Ditto! This is the first year I wont have it on release day! And queuing up seems like a long shot with worldwide shortage of 5S's!

Good Luck to everyone - 26 MINS TO GO!;)

Thats just for the phone tariff, you also need to add a network tariff also.

Dont forget that O2 now seperate the two. So when youve paid off the phone you only pay the network charge. Also, dont forget they have 3G and 4G prices.

I plan on getting up at 5 and heading to my EE store before work as I need to go to the doctors early anyway.

I will do the EE swap and sell my HTC one. That's the plan anyway. Fully expecting to leave empty handed.

Anyone that ordered via Apple last year, what's the shipping times usually if you get into the first orders?

I was thinking Apple might ship Friday via next day?

Can you tell I never usually order iPhone's online? :D

Am to do what a guy did a few pages up with 3 and beg them to put a phone to one side for me so I can come get it at lunch time, I will be frantically calling them at 8am in the morning.

Yeah, I would even be happy to pay for next day delivery, but I am not sad enough to queue in the cold on the off chance I will get the phone I actually want!

We can hope, I order online but via carriers so this will be interesting. I would love Friday delivery but wouldn't hold your breath!

There were pre-orders last year.. week in advance if I recall. I ordered my 5 bang on 8am then and i recieved it on release day a week later.

this time around I got a feeling the 7-10 days will apply as seen in Aus and the far east.

only hope is getting in an earlier order might mean any UK stock is sent out before it dries up... wishful thinking I fear though

When the Australia site went live earlier, dispatch was listed as 7-10 days right from the start. And if dispatch is from China, expect another 5 days wait for delivery on top of that.

Ah, I think I'm losing my Apple fanboy loyalty.

I'm happier to wait 10 days for a phone than to get up at a ridiculous hour and wait in line on Regents Street.

I'm getting old (at 22). :(

No Apple always hits the time mentioned (usually beats it by a few days) so I can't see an extra 5 days on that.

If I buy from Apple, what sim can I get with O2 so I can use 4G when it is ready?

Can only see 3G sims.

Does anyone know if the Apple Store app auto-refreshes, or do I have to keep clicking the home button and the icon again, or even kill the app and re-open it?

I just don't want to be sat looking at "We'll be back" not realising the party has already started!
