If you want to unlock a phone or Mobile Broadband device from Three to use it with a SIM from another network, youll need to fill in the form or call the number below. But there are a few things you need to know first:
If you're on a Pay Monthly contract with us, you'll need to be 30 days into your contract and have paid your first bill before you can unlock your device, unless you've just upgraded.
If you dont have a Three account, youll need to get a Three SIM to get your device unlocked. You can order a free Pay As You Go SIM online, or you can buy one from your local Three store for £1.99. You can then use those account details to fill in the form below.
When filling in the form, please make sure that your personal details like your name and address match up exactly to the ones you see on your bill. They have to be the details of the account owner. If they dont match these we may not be able to unlock your device.
If youre on a Pay Monthly phone plan, you can also place an unlock request over the phone using our automated service:
Type *#06# on your phones call screen to get your IMEI number. Write this down, as youll need it on the call.
Call 333 from your Three phone.
Select option two.
Select option three.
Select option one.
Youll now be able to place your unlock request.
After youve requested an unlock code.
Youll need to pay a one-off fee of £15.32 to unlock your device. If we cant add this to your next bill or youre on Pay As You Go, well call you within two working days to take payment on a credit or debit card. This card will need to be registered to the account owner. If youre on Pay Monthly, youll see this payment confirmed on your next bill.
Once youve paid, well usually give you your code straight away but it can take up to seven days at times. Well send it to you in an email, along with instructions on what to do next.
