UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

After being guaranteed by Apple it would be here today. It hasn't even moved from Sunday, looks like it's a day of playing FIFA then.

Yep, I have to go to work but my other half can stay in for me, he's under instructions to ring them at 8.

It's beyond a joke now, we just want to know where our phones are or to wait in or not.

Well today was always the estimated delivery date and they have to either deliver before or on the date they say for good customer service so they give theirselves an extra day at least to do that! But it might not change until we get it UPS's info does state you can stay at "in transit" throughout the duration until it's delivered. Hopefully we will have them delivered soon! Where abouts do you live? I'm thinking If I get mine it'll be early since I live in countryside ages away from a depot surrounded by woods.

I can understand a delay and the delivery date they give us is the worst case, but not even showing a date still is a bit worrying.

I am getting it delivered to my husbands office in central London. I would think that since its in central London and its a business address, they would have there stuff together but I guess not. I just hope they dig all our phones from where they stashed them and get them on a truck shortly. If they can't do that, then at the very least be transparent and update their information so we are aware of what is going on

EDIT: as I wrote this, my tracker updated to show its on truck for delivery today

Were in the midlands so pretty easy to get to, should they surface today! Fingers crossed.

EXACTLY! Lucky you, mine hasn't updated since Friday when it went in the air leaving Poland.
 
So I emailed UPS at 10:30 yesterday and got a response at 18:30:

Hi Sam,

Thank you for your email. I'm sorry for the time it's taking to have your package delivered. Unfortunately, I'm showing we still haven't received any updates since Friday, September 26, 2014. I confirmed the scheduled delivery date is set for September 30, 2014 by the end of the day. I recommend you continue tracking your package on ups.com for more information as it becomes available.

I can understand many things in the tracking process -- like how it can take a little bit for tracking to update after a scan. However, there are people who haven't seen movement for DAYS. This isn't just about some fanboys wanting their shiney new iPhone. This is about consumers who spent a ton of money on something and want to know where it is and what happened to it.

I would honestly react the same to a tracker mishap if it was an HDTV or something off of Amazon. We should be able to know where something is if we spent our good, hard-earned money on it
 
My tracking info hasn't changed since Friday too:

And Apple's website says:

Status In Transit to Customer- Shipment on Schedule 29 Sep
Est. Delivery 30 September 2014

I'm working from home today so at least I'm not wasting holiday time for this. But I really really hope it's going to be delivered today.
 
I've given my sisters stricked instructions to not leave the house at all today haha. I don't want to have to wait another day

I've been on the phone to UPS and apple for altogether 40 minutes apple was more helpful than UPS .. They will call back today with updates but they know it's in the UK as it got here yesterday. They say they think it will most likely be with me today but UPS cannot confirm it is in the van out for delivery due to poor scanning! So fingers crossed for today!!

My other half rang ups who were useless and told him they know no more than we do and to ring apple which he is currently doing. How can apple know more than ups!?!

No problem, let me know if it is delivered and I will do the same :)

Probably because apple care more than UPS, well the guy I had on the phone did he was real nice.
