But seriously, this is quite a disastrous pre-order launch for apple.

iPhone 5 pre-order went much more smoothly than this, and that had major problems aswell!

Very frustrating. I ordered through Chrome on my Mac. Safari, Apple Store App, and Safari on my iPad are still not connecting through. No idea why.

Apple Store app on the iPad was showing the phone as unavailable but just been able to order on the website using Safari. Phew!

Ordered, finally! I had the app on my iPhone, iPad and the website on Chrome... Safari finally worked! Checkout was seamless in the end... hopefully all is okay! I get really paranoid and anxious waiting for Apple deliveries!

still no go via app. Managed to get it on my iPhone via safari. Wasn't expecting that!! i had my mba/iPad/iPhone on the go. App still not working for me!

In fact, a few of the 6+ options are the same. Get in there quick if you want one.

I had the store page up on Chrome on my desktop PC, the Apple Store app open on my phone and in the end...

...My back up plan worked That is, Safari on my MacBook.

Finally got through via Safari on my iPhone! UK store does seem to be reliably back up now!

Finally got one! 6 plus in black.

Couldn't get in on my mac book pro, nor the apple app on my iPhone nor chrome or safari.

Funny enough the normal we browser on my Samsung tablet got in no problem. A bit ironic!!!

Just ordered via the Apple website with no problems after restarting Safari. Worth a try!

From Apple:

"Dates shown are only applicable if the delivery date on your order acknowledgement email is: Delivers 19/9 in most areas"

So if it says "Delivers 19/9 in most areas" you're getting it on launch day!
