Also preparing for dispatch for my 6s+ 64GB SG. Good job I rang my credit card company and authorised the payment to avoid mishaps.

I just had a "moment"...

We're on holiday at the mo and just left the beach (don't hate! :D ) and all of a sudden I had a notification on my Apple Watch that a payment on my First Direct credit card had been declined!

Got back to our apartment and immediately logged in and changed it to my Amex card.

I don't know why FD declined it, I guess they suspected fraud, but it was easier to just change it to my Amex card as the Apple website said they'd keep trying to charge.

Fingers crossed...
Looks like everything's ok. :)

Well I was worried about mine not going through but it went through without any problems somehow.

64GB Space Grey 6s and 6s+ both Preparing For Dispatch as of this afternoon.

This has be suspecting that we might see our phones ship from China - this is all happening a week too soon for them to be Syncreon shipments from the UK. Very weird!

Whos that plane tracking person?!!?! Where are they?!?!?! :O

https://uk.flightaware.com/live/fleet/UPS is the nicest place to track the UPS planes that are currently in the air, but I think it's a bit soon to be deploying that. If we see things moving to Dispatched in the next day or so, then we should know what's going on, because we'll see UPS tracking numbers, and correlate those with flights.

My space grey 64GB Plus has also gone onto preparing for shipment! :D

Was a little anxious HSBC would decline the payment, but it must have gone through fine. I guess I've spent so much money on the Apple Store they know it must be me by now :p

+1 for Anker cables (and chargers and batteries). I have replaced all of my Apple cables with the Anker ones, they're excellent, and the 6-foot ones are particularly helpful.

+2 agreed they are excellent.

Agree 100%. Can not fault Anker and their braided lightning cables - they are amazing and a fraction of the price of original Apple ones!

The first shipments always come directly from China.
No, they normally arrive locally in the UK and are then shipped out from Apple's (Syncreon) distribution centre.

The exception was the 5s which came direct from China, but there weren't any pre-orders for them.

Often given to UPS or UKMail too for delivery

Synchreon are the central holding hub.

From here they are collected by UPS, UKMail, FedEx et al ready for delivery.

Wonder when we will see tracking from the final carrier (ups or ukmail probably)? I would have guessed Thursday but since they have gone to preparing so soon I think it's anyone's guess! And this is definitely long enough for them to ship direct from China if they want to.

I dont expect anything too soon until its dispatched

The past four Apple online deliveries were from UPS...I hate UPS because all my deliveries from them were late in the day. 5pm-6pm we are talking here. :(

If I get UPS again, 90% chance I won't get my phone until 5pm onwards.
