DPD is good because you can change delivery times and I believe even opt for Saturday delivery; so if you do miss out on Friday you have some options.

I may even see if I can get Apple to change the delivery address for Friday tomorrow.

This man is a genius.

It wasn't *that* hard to predict. Looking back to last year, I got the shipment email from Apple at 7:45pm two days before release.

I asked today and they said its possible but they will still attempt delivery to that first address on Friday first...

They give you an estimate time of arrival and it's normally 10 minutes before to the time or 10 minutes after.

Having read a few websites it's possible the DPD website won't refresh until midnight and then tracking will be available.

The company I work for used to use DPD for couriers and normally tracking is not available until a driver has had all of their consignments scanned and is ready to leave the depot. Since then I've had a few things delivered by them including a graphics card last month and this has been the case still. I wouldn't expect their tracking to show anything till Friday morning. On the plus side you will get a text with the one hour time slot as soon as this happens.

So, I got DPD, but for the folks who got UKMail, I'll post this one more time. They have a second tracking tool that gives you more information than the main one. Nothing particularly useful, but who doesn't want to obsess over the details at a time like this:

I had a case this week delivered by U.K. Mail with zero information on when in the day they would come. Not that it mattered as u was at work and missed the delivery. I only knew they attempted by looking at the apple order status. Wonder if the phones will be any different
