My phone has 100% been disconnected ahead of receiving the new phone/contact. Kinda ridiculous given the DPD are supposed to text me tomorrow with an ETA on delivery.

I'm sure they could add notes, but no one is going to read it. It's an automated system that says when parcels should go out for delivery.

I had the option ever since getting the tracking number online; if you want to upgrade you'd need to do it now (ie day before).
Edit: My order's been collected and is on it's way - Carphone Warehouse.
Luckily for me you are wrong. I'm saying nothing else as I don't want the trolls trying to use the information but there is a secure work around.
I've had a nightmare with UKMail. Called them up during my lunch break to find out if it could be delivered after a certain time and they said no. I then asked if I could change the address and they said no. Then I asked if I could pick it up from the depot tomorrow instead of it being delivered and they said no.
So nothing changed.
Anyway, I checked my tracking again and it stated that the delivery had been rearranged by the recipient!!
Just got off the phone to them again, and the lady told me that the guy I spoke to earlier changed it for collection on a Saturday!? Then she said we don't even allow collections for these orders till Monday!
I was furious.
Anyway, the lady told me she has changed it back to tomorrow now!
What a joke they are. Such a rubbish staff member I had to deal with. Absolute mug.
Didn't ask him to change ANYTHING, simply to ask a few questions.
So nothing changed.

Please can whoever is constantly changing my delivery date/time/place just stop it?? I'm not one for coming out with sob stories but I was in intensive care for 5 days and I've only been home a week, I was really looking forward to getting my iPhone tomorrow but now that won't happen, thank you very much.

PM Zeeboo and ask him how he managed to work around it, plenty of time to sort it and DPD are generally very helpful on their phone line.

I have given up!!! Now I don't know if it will delivered here or I have to collect at the local depot which is over 30 miles away, god knows how I'll get there!! I'm not even checking my tracking link any more now.
As @Zeeboo says, it can be done (I used to work for a network some years ago), and even then we were able to ring a special number at the courier and have a special instruction added, or even recall/redirect or disallow any redirect/collection of a phone delivery.
Anyone who has published their tracking details should be phoning their courier, if the agent won't help ask for a supervisor.
Oh James you poor thing. I still can't believe people are that immature and cruel. I'm not in hospital but I am disabled and my phone is my lifeline so this is just horrifically upsetting. I hope you can get yours delivered to you and only you tomorrow.
Ordered through carphone warehouse with ee. 6s plus 64gb gold. It's been received at my nearest dpd depo (Menzies distribution Inverness) at 12pm today. I called dpd and asked if could arrange to collect from the depo and the guy put me on hold to call up Menzies and they told him my parcel was stored in a secure lock up and won't be available until after 8am Friday. O well even the couriers are in on this game.
It won't be delivered tomorrow. As I said I do not know when it will be delivered or if it will be delivered. I might have to try and get someone to take me to the depot next week.
There really are some complete a***holes out there. Hope you manage to get it sorted.
