Right then...
I got home at 12.45am (been away on holiday!). Went to sleep circa 2ish and I'm about to go and have a coffee and a shower, then battle my way through rush hour traffic for my 8.30am reservation collection for my 6S+!

Out For Delivery with UK Mail
When do we get the time slot notification? They have my mobile number
They don't have a DPD style of hour time slots, but they should send you a text saying out today and options if you want to change date.

Although, depending on software used that can often just be that the driver has scanned it onto his van. So really it's a "loaded onto van" notice usually. They'll probably start hitting the road soon though.

My original 3.. tracking number has gone and been replaced with the 872 number, just copy paste it in the box & select the Customer Reference radio button, then hit search ...worked for me.

I've worked in it for years, and on the parcel side too, and I'm no wiser now than when I started. Mushroom syndrome usually. What I do know is that these tracking systems are often pants. Except DPD. They seem to have bought the only working one in the entire UK
Re UK Mail, people have been saying they now give a two hour window. Is this not right? I know they never used to. At least not when my Dad worked for them.
UK Mail is pretty decent to be fair, I cant say the others are as great, but it doesn't hold a light to DPD

I'm jealous of you all I'm currently outside the Apple Store in Manchester and waiting to go in hopefully be able to get my phone sooner and cancel the online order
When they say 'out for delivery' really it means its been scanned by the driver.
