Still waiting for a DPD text or email. Oh, well... at least I have the time slot. Granted, if I don't get live tracking for some reason I would have no excuse but be productive until I have to leave to get the phone haha

if it’s southwark, I’ve just been told they’re still at the depot. Got my £10 refunded. I literally can’t pay DPD to give me an early delivery slot. Can’t stand them

My brain ain't working. What happens to the ones you can't sync into itunes and thus not restore from backup?

Restore from iCloud. As long as you are signed into the account that purchased them you can redownload for free. Assume a restore will automatically redownload all your apps for you.

Install iOS 9.1 b2 on new 6s Plus when it arrives
Restore backup

I can't get the map either. Have you ordered directly from apple? I think you can only get a map when ordered from ee.

PLEASE NOTE GUYS! My iPhone turned up 1 hour before its 1 hour gap so do not leave your house. I was drop 35 and even though its been here 10 minuets its still updating at drop 25 +

According to my watch the package should have arrived by now, turns out maybe the window is not so accurate

Give it a little time, delivery drivers are on tight schedules and under a lot of pressure. Im sure the package will be with you soon .

Yeah, mine is Southwark... guess that explains why I haven't got an email or text with the live tracking. At least I have the time slot. Hope it changes soon

It started at 4 hours remain, moved to 3 hours remaining after about 10 mins and has been at 1 hour for the last 15 mins or so.

My 6S+ on the other hand, is now restoring as I type!

The downside of the map tracking - I have just seen Daniel has passed within 1/4 a mile of my house and has 95 more deliveries to make before me!

Seems like a silly question but how do I transfer apps from my phone to my iTunes, so they can sync to my new phone after the restore?

I'm sure in the past all I did was press the 'transfer purchases' button and it copied them all over, but doesn't seem to be doing anything this time.

You don't, your backup should just keep track of which apps you have (and all their data) the actual app should then re-download after the install. That's how it works for iCloud and I think it works the same for iTunes (otherwise backups would be huge.

I'm not sure what happens if you have apps which are no longer available

I imagine on days like this they have some kind of drive swap thing going on. I see that you're in London too, not exactly a quiet suburb. The latest most couriers run is just gone 6 but I've heard of 10pm deliveries in the past.

Hmm... Will need to wait and see I guess, as I back-up to iTunes but don't keep the actual apps on iTunes as I can't be bothered updating them all the time haha
