Just updating you UK people that I stuck with the 6s as the battery life improved dramatically. I like my iPad Air for major surfing, films and gaming. I wanted a 'Compact phone' again after a year of struggling with the size and weight of the iPhone 6plus. Here's my battery stats today so far on the 6s. image.png

Good to hear. Do you find much battery impact from your Watch being paired?

I feel it's about the same to be honest. You don't constantly check your phone if you're waiting for a text or email, and just go on the phone as needed. I can never feel or hear my phone alerts in my bag, so I much prefer the haptic feedback on my wrist. For me, this easily negates any power used from the Apple Watch being paired. This is just my usage and opinion of course. I've always worn a watch and feel naked without one.

I do miss the larger screen of the 6 plus and the battery life was amazing (but more than I needed). When they chop those bezels down, I'll probably go back to a larger screen. The Galaxy S6 has it spot on for phone and screen size I think.

Thanks. Have been considering taking the plunge on a Watch but was a bit concerned about the impact of having the BT on all the time on the phone battery life, but what you're saying makes sense.

I've got the 'equivalent' Spigen (bagged it for 99p delivered next day!), but after seeing you post this yesterday, I've ordered one and it's coming tomorrow.

I hope it's as thin as the Spigen.

Can you provide a link to the Spigen one?

I would definitely give it a try for the 14 days return policy. I really like it, but I don't think it's for everyone. I mainly use it for telling the time! Activity app is great, notifications of course, but I also like using the timer when cooking, controlling music, and the dark sky app.

A 6 Plus is all you need. An Ipad will become redundant.

No it won't. There are some situations and uses when a regular sized iPad is far better. I have a 6S Plus and an iPad Air 2 and I still use my iPad as much as I did before getting the 6 Plus and now the 6S Plus.

Oh guysssssss / gals. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!

Have a Gold 6S 64Gb and a SG 6S+ 64Gb in front of me right now and i cannot decide which one to keep. I got the 6S+ on Friday and felt it was too big so i ordered a 6S as a replacement. Picked it up yesterday but after using the plus all weekend that feels tiny now and i just don't know which one to keep.

Being totally ridiculous. Literally keep changing my mind. Too much choice....!!! HELP MEEEEE.

Haha. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I ordered 3 rose gold 6s+ and one gold 6s+ for myself and family on day one. A few days later changed my mind and thought space grey is better for me so got someone in family to order a SG for me. Ended returning the gold one and the SG one turned up today
SG is a very good 'seriois' colour. If you want bling go for gold but in all honesty you can't see the gold if you have a case on like me.

The SG arrived today and its just sitting there at the moment. I have a serious OCD gadget problem and wont activate it until past midnight just so I can get 'an extra day' warranty lol

That's more like it! Your Siri stats before were very strange! I'm also loving going down to the smaller size after a year with the 6+ - I loved he plus in many ways but REALLY appreciate the smaller phone and one-handed use again.

I've also ditched my air for the iPad mini4 and will go for the mega-huge massive Pro in November (going to try without a laptop for the first time in a gazillion years!)

I've also not really noticed the battery drain with BT on all the time and I love knowing I won't miss texts from my kids, although at times I may still pretend I miss them! :D

I havn't noticed it. I've had bluetooth on 24/7 with my apple watch on all the time and i've been getting 12-14 hours usage and 25-30 hours standby

I've seen the video, and it is the primary reason of why I'm considering the 6S+. Although one thing I noticed from trying it in the store earlier is that 4K videos are less stable than 1080p ones. Video recording in 1080p definitely is "smoother", if that makes any sense. Is it because of the frame rate? Also you cannot really see a difference on playing 4k videos in 1080p-display phone right? The same goes for the 760p of the 6s. You need an external display that supports 4K to really see the quality difference.

A good point a user in another forum did make though is this:
"I have a theory on this. Maybe OIS is included on the 6 Plus because you're more likely to have a shaky hand holding the bigger device as opposed to the 6/6S and it happens to be convenient enough to be one of the reasons to justify the price difference."

You can zoom into the video due to it being higher than 1080p which works really well. Is certainly won't look worse because of it and later in the future when you do have a 4k display you'll be able to watch it in it's full resolution. You are right about the higher frame rate of the 1080p video making it smoother.

Even with my 5s I held it two handed if I wanted to take a decent photo because any shake is going to result in a poor picture. So the 6s Plus and OIS was a no brainer for me.

I dont think you will get an extra day warranty! Basically as soon as its added to your support profile or when its delivered that when warranty starts!

I got my Iphone 6S+ from Apple on launch day 25th. I didnt activate it till 26th and my warranty expires on 25th sept 2015!!

Might be wrong here but maybe you will get an extra day!

That's right, if you activated on the 26th then the expiry of 12 months will be the day before ie the 25th, if it expired on the 26th that would be a year and a day.

Genius thought i was being stupid so compared to my old 6s. few other genius come over and final agree so unbox a new one and wasn't happy with that, 3rd one open and it was acceptable. now to send off the old iPhone 6s back to apple online.

What's the news you get when you swipe right from the home page? Where does that come from?
