My one is out for delivery!

it’s DHL, but what used to be UK Mail. UK Mail used to have great tracking & notify of delivery window, but since they became part of DHL, that’s not looking like the case! So no clue if it’s coming before I have to head to the airport😫

Managed to order a 128 12.9 for £800 from my local Argos, they’ve taken the money and said it’s ready for collection! No idea if it will go through. Got an 11” base arriving today so this will leave me with a tough decision if I do manage to get the 12.9. Then again I’m not sure on Argos return policy, if I open it can I take it back?

My 1hr slot was 2 - 3 hrs late on my AirTags and customer services said slots are not guaranteed slots 🙈

I had a Magic Keyboard delivered by DHL yesterday. I wasn’t given a time slot at all. Turned up without notice at 3:30pm. 🙄

Yeah I noticed that and ordered one as too good a deal. All went through though for delivery today. See if they honour it.

DHL out for delivery. Tried with various models with Argos, but just getting errors so I guess that’s a no go. Good luck to those who got an order in for one before they twigged.

Fingers crossed for all of you taking a punt on Argos’ pricing antics. 🤞 Thought about trying for a 512GB 12.9” from Argos, but they’re all out of them. Closest would be the 256GB Space Grey, still an awesome machine. This would make it the same price as my incoming 256GB 11” Silver from Apple with student discount, but with the downside of having to buy a new keyboard case. I ordered the 11” Smart Keyboard Folio at the same time as my iPad, was delivered next day and I;m beyond the return window now. So to take advantage of the Argos pricing, I’d need to spend another £200 on the keyboard, all but wiping out the benefit. And having to ‘settle’ for SG when I really want silver.

Will be more than happy with my 11” later on, but really hoping Argos honour the price for those of you who’ve secured an order. Reminds me of the time I got the warm fuzzies when I got iTunes mispricing benefits (Beach Boys Made In California digital box set for £7.99, supposed to be £59.99 & Beatles stereo box for £8.99, supposed to be £124.99).
