I'd ordered an 11.6" MBA, 64GB SSD with BTO 4GB RAM, and it was due to arrive on August 8th.

But... I was passing the Trafford Centre Apple Store and as the 128GB SSD model was only £60 more than the 64GB with upgraded RAM (and the 128GB model has 4GB RAM anyway), I walked out with one. In fact while I was waiting for it to come out from the back I used one of the store machines to cancel my online order.

The machine is terrific and noticably faster even on the most basic tasks compared to my previous model. It's also noticably hotter.

Best computer ever!

I know its not a Air I have a MBP en-route from China via UPS, due to be delivered Friday.

mine has a tracking history like yours, has it entered the UK yet? mine saw a scan in Germany last night but nothing since, supposedly goes to arrive tomorrow. I only ordered the machine.

Bought mine on the day of release in the Birmingham Apple store

Got the 13" base model, seems like good value as i don't need the hard drive space

So far loving it, best laptop i've ever had by a mile. Loving the tweaks in Lion too. None of this bother about whether 4gb will be enough. It's been put through its paces each day and never once hinted it needed more ram.

mine arrived today following the same route as above. Spent 24 hours in Germany but arrived this AM.
