Vodafone, on a rolling, 30 day, SIM only contract.

I have no reception from any network inside my flat. Vodafone's SureSignal completely cures my woes.

They're all ****. I didn't vote.

I was with Orange for years, I've had phones with WiFi on them before it was even slightly mainstream and they insisted on living in the dark ages with absolutely no data plans while I watched O2 get the iPhone, data plans etc.

Now I'm with O2. Well they generally suck as well.

They're just phone carriers, they're never going to be fair.

I'll be sticking with 02. Their coverage here is quite good, and I'll be using their 02 unlimited paygo tariff, with an added web bolt-on. £15 for unlimited texts and calls, -£7.50 from my balance for web.

Ho much is in 02's fair data policy? As I am just going to get a 32GB white on PAYG and stick in my microchip

o2, because all other networks are non existent in my house. Being available for calls 24/7 is more important to me than having an uber 3G coverage for data on the go.

I am currently on O2 with my iPhone 3G. Signal where I live is hopeless, so I have been hoping that O2 will be making a femtocell available. But Vodafone is the only network that currently do a femtocell, the Vodafone SureSignal.

So I called O2 two days ago and got my PAC code. I will be pre-ordering my iPhone 4 with Vodafone as soon as I can!

Why are so many going with O2 who have the WORST 3G coverage by far?

In my case, like I stated above, I get NO signal in my house except on o2's network. And I#m not a mobile network power user, so it doesn't matter to me if it takes a little bit longer until my email loads...

PS: And not for EVERYONE o2's network / 3G coverage is THAT bad like many tend to say...

I will be going with T-Mobile, I have Friends and Family on my contract so that should mean 1/2 price iPhone tariffs for me :D and I get 3.5G (HSDPA) around 99% of the time in the places I Work, Live and Visit so I'm a happy T-Mobile bunny!

Sticking with o2 on my Simplicity plan. Coverage in Liverpool city centre (office) is perfect as is at home in Formby.

Me too :D T-Mobile are very underrated and often missed out. I get much better 3G signal than I did with O2 where I live and work. Plus I find their prices very reasonable

Yeah, what is this giffgaff thing? unlimited net, text & 100 minutes for £10?

The boast how they have no small print and other "stick it to the man ideas", and yet somewhere on their site I found this:

"You lucky giffgaff pioneers can even enjoy free UK mobile Internet up to the end of June 2010.. After that date, mobile Internet will be charged at 50p a day (if you use less than 2.5MB/day you'll pay less than 50p and if you go over 30MB you'll be charged extra at 20p/MB)."

What a load of BS, way to go "simple".
I'm pretty sure that's in reference to someone having a package which doesn't already include unlimited internet. At least I'd like to hope so.. Otherwise that whole company have really been a bit of a con.
