The surprised comments come from the fact that general wisdom states that Peach can't fight Snake at all and most Peach players consider it the absolute worst matchup.

Maybe. Still getting used to this game and forming a new style. For years now my style has been to constantly smash, I'd try and predict where the player will be and hopefully land a smash. I rarely ever use B attacks other than for recovery and I used to grab loads and throw them in the air for some juggling.
