Don’t think any U.K. stores have it. Went with i7 16GB 256.

It’s a complicated situation - these stocked BTOs are not shown on the website because they have a different part number to the equivalent specification ordered online. Full discussion here: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...-macbook-pros-in-stock.2049926/#post-24670198

So the only way to know is to go to the store (or call) and persuade them to check their stock.

When I go all the way through the process of buying the 13" i7/1TB/16GB online, the Pickup date everywhere in the UK is August 6. I also phoned my three nearest Apple Stores yesterday (Bristol and Bath) and asked them if they had that config in and none of them did. Are you saying that that might not be true and that I might be able to walk in and buy one in store tomorrow?

Yes, i7/16GB/1TB appears to be this generation's stocked BTO config. For 2016 and 2017 it was i7/16GB/512GB. You've got to be adamant and get them to check their actual stock. A lot of them will just walk you to a display model and point to the two standard configs.

(As shown by the thread I linked above, this question arises every time a new MacBook Pro is released... it would be good if an explainer on the issue could be posted as a pinned thread!)

I’m fact, I was looking at the wrong config and they do indeed have the one I want in stock! :-D

So, the online system has changed it seems, and you can now check stock of the 'secret' BTO models online.

These are:

• 13" Touch Bar, i7, 16GB, 1TB, Space Grey
• 15" Touch Bar, i9, 32GB, 1TB, Space Grey

These are in stock now in most stores.
